Regarding Pros... It's pretty badass to say "I have a pet duck"... they're also funny as hell, they do some really weird stuff. Other than that there really is nothing.

i found a duck once, it was a baby duck in reno and i cradled it while i rode my bike home and it lived for like a week, it would follow me and eat ants and cereal...i mean i was only like 10 so it did die, but it would follow me around which was pretty sick

they are easy to take care of though, theres legit duck food you need to get...my aunt and uncle raised ducks and stuff and if you get the dry duck mash they stay pretty healthy.

i could imagine it ******** everywhere though, if i was getting an aquatic bird id get a penguin

My backyard neighbor has several ducks. They can be a pain in the ass in numbers. One may be cool, but don't let that get out of hand. I mean, don't let him invite his little duck friends over because where as it sounds like fun, before you know it, they are teenage ducks and they are out of control.
