Lionsin2011 hopes to escalate quickly but not get out of hand.

Lions have to go Defense with some early picks then put some middle rounders in to the O-line there biggest problem was the defense could'nt get off the field when the D played OK they were in those games. There are a lot of good DT's but not many CB's or S how tey choose to do the drafting by round I dont care but if they dont get a D lineman and a corner or saftey early we are going to suffer through the same old thing.

On the field he died a bit.

I think DE is still a need. Depends what Henry Melton and Jarron Gilbert can do. I think Gilbert is still an UT and Melton can play LE but he cant be relied up yet to do that.

Detroit "needs" a ton ...start with an anchor like Kong Suh (man crush) followed by best CB available. RB & LG a S would be great too. Sprinkle in another CB, C & OLB since Peterson is likely done after 2010. Basically a healthy dose of D in the D.

It would unfold something like this for me ...

Suh - Hulk, Huskers
Best - RB, Cal
Ghee - CB, Wake
Lauvao - LG, ASU
Butler - OLB, Washington
Amaya - S, Nevada

Throw in a rookie QB (undrafted) maybe Kafka out of Northwestern or Canfield from Oregon St?
