Default New Steelers Mock Since the TRADE!

RD1- Earl Thomas S Texas
We re-signed Clark i know. But what happens when TP gets injured again? Or if TP and Clark goes down. Fact Thomas can be a nickel back from day one and replace townsend in passing situations and if TP goes down Clark slides to SS and if Clark goes down Thomas slides into his spot. Clark is 30 years old and only has a three year deal which means we only need to keep him a year or two.

RD2- Donald Butler ILB Washington
Again we have Foote and Farrior but nothing long term. Kid is quick and is good in coverage. Gets a year or two to learn and then he takes his starting roll.

RD3- JD Walton OC Baylor
Pouncey is an option at number one but even if we get Pouncey there's not guarantee he starts so why not taking a better prospect in Thomas and have a future starting center in the third round.

RD4- Tony Washington OT Abilene Christian
First round talent coming out of a tiny school. Had sex with his sister when he was 16 so... yeah. But he's a 4th round pick so you can't have it all. :)

RD5a- Arthur Jones DE Syracuse
before his knee injury was a second or third round pick. Lets see if he can get back to form.

RD5b- Ben Tate RB Auburn
Has all the physical skills and has a lot of production at a tough school. Not sure why he is so late on so many draft boards.

RD5c- Brandon Banks WR/KR Kansas St
Dude is lightening when he has the ball in his hand. Another ttarget for ben and a return guy.

RD5d- Zac Robinson QB Oklahoma St
Dixon hasn't proved anything and Batch cant make it through a season as a back-up.

RD6- Brandon Sharpe OLB Texas Tech
High production out of this undersized DE.

RD7- Nate Byham TE Pitt
I don't think Speath is there after his contract.

Tate doesn't last to R5.

Better choices at R2; take an ILB later.
