TBS gives me my Office reruns fix so I like them, in fact there is hand full of shows on TBS that I watch reruns of.

Yeah I don't really mind TBS much either. They play some solid movies from time to time too.

DirecTV to broadcast all five seasons of "The Wire" uncut, commercial-free. Oh snap.

The Wire" is coming to DirecTV.


HBO's critically acclaimed series about drug-strewn streets of Baltimore, and how crime and the budget critics affects city government, schools and the media, will make its debut on July 18. All five seasons are set to air uncut and in high defintion.

Series comes from former Baltimore Sun reporter David Simon, who is currently showrunner on HBO's New Orleans saga "Treme," which launched Sunday night.

"The Wire" debuted in 2002 and stars Dominic West, Wendell Pierce, Clarke Peters and a deep roster of other thesps. Simon, Robert F. Colesberry and Nina Kostroff Noble exec produce.

I am wondering the same. Probably by showing it the same way they show other 4:3 shows in HD.

Great news for me.

And what exactly happened with Flash Forward? Reboot? That show sucked anyway, but did they ever say why people blacked out? Or is it the SSDD?

They sort of know. After the re-boot they've answered a lot more questions than they were doing but there is still a lot going on. I like it.

Reboot was the wrong term but they took a 3 month hiatus to try and clean up the problems they were having. It's been much more crisp since they've done so. The acting is still bad but I didn't expect that to get better.

that would have been funny/better if freddy prinze jr would have taken over as the lead and sarah michelle gellar as the wife. or i would settle for nudity from the blonde chick. that would bring back the ratings.

Any chance that the Flashforward creators saw Fiennes and assumed they were getting Ralph, and when Joseph came in they were disappointed? Because honestly, Joseph Fiennes sucks.

I mean yeah, they could have done better, but for something that is supposed to entertain and not break new ground here, it works, for me at least.
