Desean has no class

Already dissing McNabb. What a shame. That's low class.

He just doesn't get it..either that or he just wants everything in the Eagles lockeroom to stay under control.
Desean probably didn't even watch McNabb as much as we all think.

He's an immature pinhead. Talented, but what can you expect from him? -_- Can tell from his interviews he's not the brightest bulb...
Have to say would of expected Drew Rosenhaus to have DeSean better prepared for the media blitz.

I agree with DeSean but I don't think DeSean should've said that publicly. Apparently he really took offense to the "showed our youth" comment McNabb made which might explain him shoving the "Young Guns" down everyone’s throats he speaks to.
But I'm not surprised, DeSean isn't a very forgiving guy and if he took that comment McNabb made as an insult then there is no way he will ever speak of him in a positive fashion again. Example, he won't even say he went to Cal because he heard the coaches and school didn't give him raving reviews, he always says his high school, not Berkeley because he is so mad about that.
DeSean is a vengeful diva receiver; I hope Kolb doesn't piss him off.

I didn't see it as that spiteful. I took it more of "he has the confidence that the offense wont skip a beat even with Kolb at helm" kind of statement.
I could be wrong, though.

Its not the having confidence in the offence I have issue with its the I am happy with Mcnabb being gone stuff that is classless. He didn't need to say it but went out of his way to say it.
You dont see Celek, Maclin or anyone else do this. I don't wish harm on Jackson but he does need to get lit up a good one to bring his ego back to earth. Hopefully he doesn't turn into TO jr.

Weird statement from Desean, also I do think he's the 2nd coming of Steve Smith.
As his superstar status ascends in Philly and around the league, I think we can expect more 'WTF!?' comments from Jackson.
Can't wait to see Kolb try to hit Desean 60 yards on the fly!

Doubt that Kolb can thow the ball that far but will see 35-40 yards is about his limit for accurate throws

Maybe he shouldn't have said it publicly, but McNabb is playing for a division rival and overrated.
Want to shut Jackson up? Stop him.

That's dumb. Stop him? Totally irrelevant here. McNabb should not be a reason for Jackson to open his mouth up the way he did.
Besides, Jackson ain't all that. He did absolutely NOTHING against the Cowboys last year. He just has a big disrespecting mouth... and for a guy built as skinny as him, he should just shut the hell up before he gets ripped in half. The last thing he needs is Laron Landry putting him into deep sleep with a concussion to his brain.

Desean should shut up because he's not all that good, and he's a tard to top it all off. Seriously, when you celebrate before you get in the endzone and cost yourself a TD MORE THAN ONCE, you have serious ego issues.

So McNabb, and everyone on here, is in a tizzy because DeSean supported his QB? What was he supposed to say? "We are going to struggle so much without McNabb, I don't know how we'll do anything without him"..? Granted he picked possible the worst way to go about it, and the maybe the worst wording possible, but as pretty much everyone on here knows, DeSean isn't exactly the smartest guy in the world, which could explain the wording of it. Never did he trash McNabb, he never said anything negative, or talked about any of his deficiencies, he simply said they "hadn't lost anything" (referring to how he feels about Kolb).

Didn't Desean go to Cal??
He's no dummy by a stretch, but he does have that 'I don't give a f@@@ what any thinks' vibe about him sometimes.
He for sure isn't the most tactful guy in the league, just wish he would have stated his opinion differently.
Being too cocky all the time and eventually you end up with your own johnson gagged halfway down your throat.

Seriously...
What was the question preceding his "disrespect"?
If the reporter asked him - "do you feel you lost anything with Donovan now in Washington?" then his answer is 100% fine. This is exactly how things are taken out of context.

D. Jackson is def. all that. The guy has insane talent, and can get even better. If his attitude and ego, don't get the best of him, as he succeeds in this league, then he will be fine. A lot of players have talent, but it will come down to their attitude and ego in the end. Moss and TO are the best examples of this. Both have much better physical skills than Rice ever did. But Rice had a great work ethic, and great attitude. That's a key element in succeeding in the NFL.
I am more interested if Jackson, as he gets better and does well, can reign in that ego or not. Can he have a good attitude, or will be start talking even more once he gets even better? Stuff like that is interesting to me.

Jackson might be just a little off on not losing nothing. Yes Kolb proved he can hit him in stride and looked good in the two games they played together. He did lead the league in catches for TD's of over "something yards" but Kolb does not have the gun McNabb has to throw them long TD's. Jackson might still put up the numbers with the shorter passes, now that his QB is more accurate. He perhaps will have more catches but, he does lose the long ball threat.

He's an athlete and one that didn't graduate. Marshawn Lynch was another Cal Bear. They're both dummies whether the classroom has always shown that or not

Being an undisciplined, immature student/athlete and 'dumb' are two completely different things, although the results in the classroom are the same.
Duke, Cal, Stanford, ND, Michigan, Virginia, Vanderbilt and UCLA , ( I know there are some BCS schools I left out!!), because of their academic standards, have a limited pool of athletes to recruit from.
I don't know if Lynch and Jackson were full or partial academic qualifiers, but I'll never call a football player who played for Berkley a flat-out dummy.
Desean isn't 'dumb', IMO, but he does have the tendency to let some stoopid shyst roll off his tongue.
