I dont know much about the baseball draft this year outside that Bryce Harper should be the #1 pick but I heard he is a giant D-Bag and that could cost him.

1) Bryce Harper
2) Jameson Tallion
Everyone else?
but really, i like the looks of this years draft class. I think Tallion is going to be absolute stud in the league, and Harper definitely has hype that maybe only Strasburg has ever gotten.
Anyone think that Harper is going to move positions? I see him ending up in right field.

I don't think Harper lives up to the hype. Just me personally.

In the time it took to make this thread, Anthony Ranaudo was injured twice.

Haha. Dave Littlefield would have taken him then. He likes hurt arms.

Tallion isn't going to be a stud because the Pirates are going to draft him. Sorry, Hines.

He would definitely give you a hell of a pitching prospect. I cant really think of anyone as far as pitchers that you have waiting in the minors? I know Pedro Alvarez is a future star, and Tallion would be a hell of a future star on the bump.
I hope Harper can stay motivated after he gets that money, he seems like he has a good head on his head on his shoulders, but money does alot of different things to ppl

Bonds and A-Rod are both dicks, and they seem to have done well for themselves.

We have quite a few promising arms in the system, but none scream out ace more than what Tallion would. Kid is 6'6 and can top 99 from what I have read. I don't know how much he'll demand, but the Pirates need to take him if Harper isn't there.

Well as far as ive heard, the nationals have come out and said that they will make Harper the number 1 pick, signing him will be the only problem.
Tallion makes is the best pick at 2 by a long shot. Ive also heard the velocity reaching as high as 99. He will earn a hell of a pay check as well.

I believe Harper is the number 1 pick as well, but stranger things have had happened. If the Pirates don't take Tallion, I'd be mad, but I'd take Machado, Pomeranz, or maybe AJ Cole.

Yeah, Bryce Harper potentially being a douchebag isn't going to affect him at all. He's going to go #1 overall. He has the most upside of any hitter in years.

I dont think hes a douchebag.
He may look cocky or arrogant, but i think its more of a swagger. As a baseball player you definitely have to have some type of swagger to be successful.

There were reports he was in fact just a douche/arrogant.
Cocky and swagger are one thing but arrogant and a douche are completely different. Those can make or break a clubhouse.
