It doesn't matter when you K 11 per 9 and start adding pitches because you're bored.

He's not striking out 11 per 9.

Dammit looking at 2009 stats. 9.3, still good.

Tigers have won seven in a row (albeit against ****** teams).
Just 0.5 behind the Twins now in the central.

What would it potentially cost to acquire Cliff Lee this time around?

The Yankees get shut down on consecutive days by Jamie Moyer, Kyle Kendrick and Hisanori Takahashi. Sad times.

It happens. We got swept by the Nationals last year. Lannan pitched 8 and change of shutout or 1 run ball. Can't get much worse than that. And we know how that worked out in the end.

Strasburg's stuff is as filthy as advertised. But, Gavin had his best outing of the year. Can the Sox move to the NL?

They'll miss the playoffs, you'll see.

I doubt it. We haven't even been playing great and we're tied for the best record in baseball. We are almost at the time of year when we hit our stride.

He's been dealt twice for underwhelming packages. Strange ...

I wonder if it's really true that the Phillies are trying to get Lee back.

I think its because he's made it blatantly obvious he's looking for the best deal period when it comes to free agency. I know most players are like that, but he's made no secrets he's going to be all about the money, period.

Tigers offer ... Andrew Oliver, Ryan Strieby, and a bullpen arm.
That said, I don't want Lee. I'd rather just wait and take a run at him as a free agent.

Well you have to offer something better then the comp picks. I have a bad feeling the Twins are going to use a package built around Wilson Ramos to get him.

Ramos isn't playing for the Twins anytime soon so that's a good idea.

That would be a no brainer. I don't know why we don't hear more about this possibility. That's the one thing their missing. A true ace.

I've seen a lot of rumors about Lee to Twins.

He's a phenom, but the Nats offense is pathetic and they need to score some damn runs for him.
