For me, it's a tough choice between Joseph and Hall.

I went with JJ because he can simply blanket a number one man up and Hall is slightly behind him in that sense. Cant go wrong with either one.

Jonathan Joseph, easily.
AFC North actually has a strong group with the addition of Sheldon Brown, who's a stud and Foxworth(solid starter) and the growth of Leon Hall, Joseph,Lardarius Webb and Eric Wright.
A lot of good players but if I had to choose 4 it'd go like this
Jonathan Joseph
Sheldon Brown
Leon Hall
Eric Wright
Ike Taylor was hard to keep out, but it was either him or Wright.

based on what is jonathan joseph the best. he has neither ocho cincos heart,or anyone heart for that matter, a continual spot on the best defense in the nfl over the last 5 years, a playoff win, or any rings to prove it.
Whats eric wright ever done other than go 4-12. Didnt sheldon brown just get cast off by his team because he couldnt cover anyone

in the 7 games against the best WR we faced, the guys I remember JJ covering most of those games gained a combined 415 yards and 3 touchdowns off of 29 receptions.
His two worst games went to: Vincent Jackson [5 rec, 108 yds, 2 TD]
Andre Johnson [8 rec, 135 yds, 0 TD]
Other notable WR:
Sidney Rice [4 rec, 39 yds, 1 TD]
Brandon Marshall [4 rec, 27 yds, 0 TD]
Santonio Holmes 2 games [8 rec, 106 yds, 0 TD]
Greg Jennings [0 rec, 0 yds, 0 TD]
Not that you would ever listen nor care but there it is.

Joseph gets burnt too often. Hall is as consistent as they come.

I think you have that backwards.
Hall got burnt more than Joseph from what I remember. Hall just got lucky Braylon can't catch.
He also got beat bad by Mason last year. He is also the one who tipped it up to Stokely so grrr to him lol.

I know this was one game, but after that, I always considered Joseph to be the better corner.. plus, isn't he the one who lines up opposite of the #1 WR? not Hall?

ohh nice.. and how many INT's for 5 years? only 8.. Hall and Joseph had 6 in one year.
now I know picks are everything, but nowadays, in this game, you need guys who make game changing plays.. Taylors good, but not as much of an "impact player" like Joseph, Wright, or Hall are.

I don't think were going to need to do a #2 CB vote.

I don't think we needed this thread either :P Everybody knows except bce that the best CB duo in the league is in Cincinnati.

Then should I just jump right into best HC since we know who the best CBs, FS, SS, and RS are?

If we can get enough people to agree that
Ed Reed is the FS
Troy Polamalu is the SS
but how many CBs are you planning to have? 2 starters? or are we adding a nickel?
