Gah I looked up how much box sets of MST3K cost. Let's just say it's pretty ridiculous.

My plan to buy a new computer and use my old one as an external hard drive for music and movies may have just jumped to the top of my priorities list...

This x1000. Her skin looks like paper. I can't take any of her violence seriously, which makes her "trigger-happy firebrand" persona hard to believe in. The show is just too tame IMO.

Really looking forward to Boardwalk Empire. Incredible cast along with some brilliant creative minds will make for one of the better shows to come along in a while.

Agreed. A darker Burn Notice would actually keep me watching. The show just became a time filler for me, wasn't overly funny, didn't really care about the characters (Bruce Campbell excluded), and the storylines at best would only slightly interested me. I don't dislike the show but there are way more shows I would rather spend my time watching.

Cookie cutter episodes since the very start, change the formula man!

Burn Notice seems to have shot its bolt & lost its edge, all the storylines echo previous, better written episodes from past seasons.

Fi has been kidnapped twice now, & Simon the villain carried over from last yr. is just another international psycho killer, & last night's ep recycled the 2 FBI guys from Season 1. Their writers need some fresh original material & characters in a hurry or this is thier last yr.

Burn Notice isn't the greatest TV show in the world, and it could definitely use some tweaking, but I'm still entertained by it so I'll keep watching.

Boardwalk Empire is definitely my most anticipated series for this year, just slightly edging out my excitement for The Pacific and Treme whenever they first aired.

I'm not disagreeing completely, but you do realize that a ton of shows do this, right? Even the successful ones. Carrying over characters from previous seasons and using similar plot themes are pretty common place.

I'm with Gonzo though. I'd love to see a show like Burn Notice, but with a much more serious tone. Not necessarily 'darker', just more serious. I love the 'spy' shows but it seems the vast majority of them all have comedic flares to them.

USA is still awesome though. White Collar is quickly becoming one of my favorite shows, as well as Royal Pains. Of course Psych is probably my favorite show on TV too, so that's nice.

Psych is my favorite as I've always made that clear. I wish I got into Burn Notice when it first started.

I can't really take more than 2 USA shows, because they are just so annoyingly formulaic and the only two that have the cast to be able to handle that are White Collar and Psych (and Monk because of Shalhoub at times when it was on).

All I watch right now is Psych and White Collar. The USA lineup is better than anything NBC has though which is ridiculous because I believe they passed on all those shows and then sent them to their sister network. I'm not sure if they would be as good though if they were on network tv even though they're not "dirty."

He's been great also since they added him in the episode with Urkel and Keenan. Someone mentioned they think he might be part of the Yin Yang killers but I'd hate that if true. There's no way that's possible.

I'd take the Thursday Night lineup (especially when Parks and Recreation is involved) and Chuck over anything USA has to offer.

There is really not one character on Psych that I hate, I like some more then others but it's rare (atleast for me) to find a show I like everyone.

I disagree. I'm a big fan of Community and Parks & Rec but I still like Psych better. I think I'm the only one who defended Parks when it first started and everyone was killing it.

I don't hate anyone either. Which is rare for me too.
I think some were useless or under-developed (which is just as bad and hating them to me).

I was always hoping McNab would be developed more and make detective. Then he would be an extra thorn in Lassie's side being more willing to have Henry bring Psych in on cases. I always found it annoying he is still just a dope cop.

Yeah it seems like Psych doesn't really develop any storylines except for the Yin Yang killer as the last episode of the year. Even the on and off again romance between Shawn and Jules has gone nowhere. It would be nice to see some development of certain characters for the true fans of the show.

I mean you can tell the main core has developed (Shawn, Gus, Jules & Lassie)
But aside from a new job, Henry is the same. Chief Vick - same. McNab - same.

I would go for a new detective (Give Buzz the promotion) and some more development of the Shawn/Jules but not too much.
