Another year where the Phillies had a competitor for the NL East and they just fell off in September.

I think this is his 3rd year throwing it. It's really come together this year for him.

In May, when the Rays had the best record in baseball?

Good God, if Aaron Rowand and Pablo Sandoval were atleast average the Giants would be far ahead of the Padres.

Love the way we are playing right now. Liriano looks recharged after some dead arm in early August. 97 mph on the gun tonight. Still worried about our rotation in the playoffs, but we should hit the ball fine and it's looking likely that we'll open up at home at this point, where we have been fantastic all season long.

No. In May, when the White Sox season was dead the first time.

Kyle Drabek is making his first major league start for Toronto against Baltimore tomorrow.
Brian Matusz has been very good in August and now in September. Yesssssssssssssssssssssssss keep it up. My favorite pitching prospect.

Wow, just saw that throw from that Yankee rightfielder. That was an absolute Mondesi from rightfield. No hop throwing out Crawford.

I thought he had a brain fart and wasn't expecting Crawford to go because he didn't fade back to set up the hop...
Straight gun.
Granderson's catch in the bottom of the 9th was pretty amazing as well. Full extension diving to his left to rob Zobrist of a double or triple.

Greg Golson is his name. Came up with the Phillies. Went to Texas. And then we picked him up in a small trade with Texas. He might make our postseason roster. With all the days off and need for only 4 starting pitchers, we are definitely going to carry at least a 5 man bench instead of 4. Maybe even 6. Anyway he's pretty damn fast, and will likely make the postseason roster as a pinch runner and/or defensive replacement late for Swish.

We might win 100 games this year. Awesome. What has to happen for us to not play (choke) against the Yankees in the first round? I don't remember how playoffs work for baseball.

Top seed vs. wild card
2nd vs. 3rd
Unless same division, then..
1st vs. 3rd
2nd vs. WC
So as of right now it looks like...
Yankees vs. Texas
Twinkies vs. Rays
