Not to be out done by coach Sweatervest, Kirk Ferentz takes the lead for earliest decision to call the most conservative game ever. Up 17-0 mid way through the 2nd, Iowa decides to run on 75% of plays the rest of the game, even though most passes were wide open 20 yards down field when ran.
Basically the entire 2nd half we ran out the clock. Yippee.
Also, if we face a good passing attack, they will have a field day. That is all.

I was hoping for the right tackle to bust a move on that play.

Hahahaha awesome...Locker did like a mini-jump pass on that.
Also, I don't know if anyone has mentioned, but Washington's WRs are really bad........

I don't remember anyone making all these excuses for Eli when he was playing. He had one teammate on offense that was also drafted in his 4 years. It was Stacy Andrews.

Apparently USC didn't want the ball back after this field goal.

he was banking on a 100 percent kicker to miss a 30 yarder.

One or two drops is expected but it's a freaking epidemic with this team. I dont remember Eli's receivers being that inept, they were SECzzzzz players after all.
Loved that clock management by USC down the stretch, thank you.

Eli had some solid receivers. Mike Espy almost stuck with the Redskins iirc. He was damn good. Few other solid college receivers that didn't quite catch on.

Ohh come on guys. One WR almost caught on with an NFL team and that's being counted now. Eli won consistently in the SEC with not much around him. Yes I'm biased but the facts are there. Locker pulled off a great win today so stop making excuses to keep putting him on a pedestal.
