2010, 4 games, 32 carries, 160 yards, 1 TDs, 5.0 avg

It hasn't been as dramatic as Michael Turner looked compared to Tomlinson the last 2 years together in San Diego IMO, but Jackson has outperformed Lynch, as the stats indicate, and most Bills fans would say.

Maybe that's why Ted Thompson wasn't so eager to bring in Lynch.

Williams may be a better RB but no way Thompson will trade for him and no he did not decide not to trade for Marshawn because he thought Jackson was better its because he loves drafting more then trading he never would trade for that one piece like some other teams would to complete the team if it ment giving up a high draft pick.

Also Jackson is 29 you think hes going to outlast Lynch whos 24? I don't think so Lynch has 6 years left before he hits the dreaded 30. Also Jackson had 117 more carries then Lynch when he had 1k yards so he was taking carries away of course Lynch numbers are going to be down.

That's a run-on sentence.

Thompson did try and trade for Marshawn, he just wouldn't beat the Seahawks offer. He took a small swing though, as he did for Tony Gonzalez in 2008, and maybe Randy Moss in 2007, and 2008.
That was pretty aggressive considering it's Ted Thompson.

Let me guess he wouldn't try to beat anyone elses offer?? Just proofing my point he doesn't like to trade picks away can't blame him. But Lynch wouldve been a nice addition although Packers line is about as terrible as the Seahawks,Bills line is so maybe he made the right choice.

First of all, Lynch wouldn't even be here in two years, regardless. I'm hoping I don't have to worry about the longevity of either that much since we just used a top-10 pick on a running back, but I think Jackson has plenty left.

I really have no idea what you're trying to say in the second part of that. Lynch's numbers were down because he was the inferior running back and therefore got less carries?

The only year he out performed him was 2009 when Lynch had an injury and missed some games I believe.

2009 was when Lynch was suspended for 3 games, but lost his job as the starter.

But anyway, I watch every Bills game. He may not have put up more yards in the first couple of years (probably because it's a lot easier to get carries as a first round pick than as an undrafted guy signed out of the midwest arena leagues when busting into the NFL), but he has been the better player for that amount of time. His worst YPC for a season is better than Lynch's best, and he only gets better with a bigger workload.

I read a ridiculous stat that after he gets 20 carries, Fred Jacksons YPC jumps to like 7.2 or something. Cant remember where I read it, but if its true its absolutely insane.

What he said. Jackson's running style just makes everyone cum their pants because he never ever dances at all behind the line and just guns it through holes for solid gains. Its much nicer than watching Lynch jump around from side to side in the back field for four minutes every play and then kind of fall forward for half a yard or two with five defenders on him.
