Yeah, he should've just worked on solidifying his core at 230. With that speed off the edge that he had at that speed there's no reason he couldn't learn how better to create leverage and not get overpowered, to do what Schobel did and play much bigger than the 230-240 he played at. Michael Strahan's last season he was around 240 as well and still played as big and strong as Strahan always did. Having ideal size is ideal, but if you've got great explosiveness like Maybin had at Penn if you work hard, study well and can adapt you can certainly learn to play around it. Maybin just needs to grow up and understand that this is his career and not just a couple year job.
