Week 7: Falcons

Obviously I'd like to see the Bengals pick up a win this week but what I'd like to see more then anything is a just a solid game from both sides of the ball. If they get outplayed so be it. I think having Shipley back will help the offense a little bit. Palmer likes looking for him since he runs those short routes over the middle that he can hit without having to really throw the ball very far.

Coming off a bye week, I'm hoping this team gets it straightened out in the dome. Palmer and our defense are keys to us having a chance in this one. No more stupid penalties. I'm off to the game. Who dey

If you guys have never seen Roddy White play, this is what we get from him every week.

I've seen Roddy White play, it's just a matter of having Joseph out there to cover him. I'm not saying he wouldn't have reached his 100 yards but it wouldn't have been the game it was.

This is just ridiculous. Bleh......

Yea, I'm not even really mad abt this game at all. I think we did do a lot of good things on offense, but our defense was terrible today. Plus Roddy White is just a ******* beast. IDK if JJ could've even done much more than what we got outta Jones and Leon today, he was that good.

I do have to say I'm a bit disappointed with Andre today. He looked good in the run game for the most part but the mental lapses and ineffectiveness in pass pro were disheartening. Maybe it was because this was his first start this year, but he definitely needs to continue to work on those things.

How has andre smith been playing? Bc I was at the game and saw him got beat alot by the falcons D on passing downs.

He's great at times and bad at times. He's still basically a rookie so I guess some of that is expected but he definitely needs to pick it up in pass pro.

Roland looked really good in the run game at times last year. Pushing defenders back 4-5 yards sometimes.

He's a really big guy, so it's kind of expected that he can push some smaller, less skilled defensive players around.

As far as Andre goes, we all knew he was a risky pick. I didn't expect this up and down performance from him, but whatever I'm still happy with that draft.

Even though I didn't get to see all of the game it did look like Andre played better in pass pro than last week. Pitt is definitely going to be a good test for him.
