Ya never know with this D as well. He have the worst coach out of all coaching positions in the NFL currently as our DC so we really unfourtanetly dont know wh at to expect.

What's everyone's thoughts on the McClain situation. First off Channing Crowder is a POS, I noticed him all game for sucking ass and he was definitely instigating some things out there. With that said after watching the replay McClain definitely did something. I can’t say if he actually did spit on Crowder but the way his head cocked back and Crowder’s reaction at the minimum he at least faked spitting. I think LeRon should definitely be fined because you don’t ever do that, you can talk sh*t all day, but spitting in someone’s face is crossing the line. That’s the type of crap that could cost you an important playoff game. Composure is always the key. And while Dmase’s comments on Crowder were hilarious and true, he really shouldn’t be sticking his nose that far deep. Players should never comment on other players on how they suck and they definitely shouldn’t ever say that their team doesn’t even want them when he has no evidence of this. I just hope this isn’t a reoccurring situation because in the past the Ravens have performed poorly when they lose their cool. We don’t need to be reminded of that infamous Patriots game during their undefeated season. I wish a vet like Mason would act more like one. Mase talking to the media like this only encourages guys like Housh to unleash their true personalities.

If LeRon did spit on him there should be a penalty. But seriously the Miami team is making themselves look ******** during the whole situation.

I'm aware of their respective positions. I just thought it was funny because of all the fuss made about Polamalu's ability around the LoS. It made me laugh.

JEEZ.
I never thought of both Ngata AND Cody in the backfield, but I'd prefer Rice back instead of McClain.
I just doubt McClain could fit through such massive DT's, whereas, no one would be able to see Rice through our power pigs (Ngata and Cody)

Mc`Lain didn't spit him in the mouth!
It's official.
Hope we play the same way the Falcons like the Dolphins.

Offensively, yes
Defensively, I hope we are tougher against the run. We've been giving up 100+ yards a game on the ground and that's not what we're known for. If we wanna beat Atlanta, we have to stop Michael Turner.

Anyone else say we bring in Marvin Lewis as DC after he gets fired?
Imagine Suggs,Ngata,Cody,Kruger
with the LBs being Kindle,Lewis,Ellerbe/Gooden.
one can only dream....
Now onto the teh ATL game. Ryans record @ home and Roddy White worry me. I think we can beat them but I am very nervous. Lets see how Flacco does on the primetime stage. He has been on fire recently hopefully he can keep it up.

Just roll Reed to White's side in the secondary and make Michael Jenkins beat us.

As long as Fabian isn't covering him that might work. I've got a weird feeling about this game, I'm not sure what to make of it. Should be a good one, but I think we might come out on the losing end. IMO Flacco needs to be turnover-free once again for us to win this game, and even then I'm not sure if the defense will be able to step up (Mattison's game-calling to be precise, we need to bring pressure and I doubt he will).

I had some thoughts about last week that I thought I lost but I wrote them down on another computer and just found them.
I'm really happy to get out of that game with a win. The Dolphins are a good team and could have beaten us if we would have let them in the game.
-I was pretty happy with the offense. No turnovers from Flacco, should have had one though. Good job checking it down to Rice out of the back field. I'd like to see more plays down field to Stallworth but its not a big deal. They took some shots which is good.
-Love Josh Wilson's potential and ability. If Fabian struggles I would like to see him get more time.
-I'm glad Kruger is showing something. We aren't as strong as we were last year across the d-line. We lost some key rotational guys and I think it shows this year in our run defense. I'd like to see more of Cody if he is physically there.
-I'd love Wade Phillips strictly as a DC but yeah that would never happen mid season.
I'm not excited about this week because its a short week against a good team, but it is a short week for them too.

IDK if Wade Phillips would be a good fit here. The type of 3-4 he runs really doesn't fit our players, especially the defensive line. Ngata could play in his scheme but everybody else isn't a good fit. He likes to use his 3-4 ends as guys that take on blockers while the NT penetrates. We'd probably be better off than what we have in Mattison but I don't think it would be a great hire either.

Totally agree with bringing Marvin Lewis on-board if he is let go. Anyone but Mattison.
Also, Josh Wilson is starting tonight in place of Fabian Washington. and rightfully so.

I'm pretty stoked for the game too. And for my new sig. RAY RICE! Lets hope he has a huge game tonight, when he's on our entire offense clicks.
BTW, Ravens at Falcons was my preseason super bowl prediction.

Unless we get down big and have to turn it into a shootout, I'd be pretty surprised. If it's a close game, we are going to stay balanced and chew a ton of clock with Turner.

I don't think Harbaugh and Ellerbe like each other very much.
