I haven't seen all of them.
As a homer, the one about Pacers vs. Knicks I loved.
I also saw Terry Fox story, Ricky, Da U, Tyson/Tupac and Drazen/Vlade. All were very good.
I really want to see the ones about Escobars and Len Bias.
I also haven't seen Hank Gathers/Bo Kimble and Dupree stories from the beginning.

I watched the Marcus Dupree documentary a few nights ago and it was incredible. I highly recommend it.

Not gonna lie, I got choked up when Marcus Dupree talked about running for his little brother.

The Marion Jones one was god awful. They try to make her into the victim, and say that she only lied to Federal investigators because they were asking her questions too fast and she didn't stop to think about the consequences, so she just lied about using PEDs to federal Agents. Please. She would continue to claim she did use PEDs for more years after that.
Then she talks about how she was the victim again for being put in prison, those are what we call consequences, Marion. I don't really feel bad for her in that she cashed in on everything she did while on PEDs, and now she wants people to feel sorry for her. At one point they played the race card incinuating that the only reason she got a prison term was that she was black. And now she's leading the charge for awareness against making bad decisions. It's almost as if she feels that she made a bad decision in lying to Federal investigators, rather than using PEDs in the first place.
On top of the weak narration, boring storyline, and weak attempt at glorifying a disgraced athlete, this was by far the worst 30 for 30 that I have seen so far.

I haven't seen many of them, but the ones I saw I liked a lot.
The 2 Escobars was one of the best films I've ever seen. That moved me. Great great film.

Haven't seen them all but my top 5 would look something like this
1. Two Escobars
2. The U
3. Run Ricky Run
4. The Best That Never Was
5. Reggie Miller vs. the Knicks

Rewind Wednesday (Marcus Dupree Part II) Dupree gives thoughts on ESPN documentary
http://www.clarionledger.com/apps/pb...rionledger.com
Interview with Marcus Dupree about the 30 for 30 documentary about himself. Scroll down a little bit.
Give this a read, if for no other reason than to read Dupree's comments about Fairley.

Pretty sure it's The Best That Never Was again. Really good one there.
Pretty excited about Pony Excess. The SMU story has always been something I'm interested about hearing something more than a summary about.

I can't wait to watch The Pony Express tonight. The SMU death penalty is something I have been really interested in learning more about.

6'2 230 4.4 40. Pretty crazy stuff. You almost have to throw out the NFL numbers just because of all the stuff that happened to him and got his career off track. The Oklahoma highlights were absolutely nuts. Luckily his talent reincarnated as Adrian Peterson to make it's money and get it's due.

Yeah, interesting story, very well made as usual. Really goes to show just how wild things were back in those days in regards to recruiting.

This is the 30th film they have shown. The next one will probably be after the new year Catching hell about Bartman. I'm waiting for all 30 to come out in a box set. They were all pretty great. There is a podcast with a wrap up by the creators of the concept.
