1. Texas [128-27, .826] – Only team with a winning percentage above .800
2. Ohio State [119-32, .788] – Clearly the class of the Big Ten
3. Oklahoma [122-35, .777] – Bob Stoops has 8 seasons of 10+ wins or more in his 11 seasons at OU.
4. Florida [119-36, .768] – One of just two teams with two BCS championships
5. Virginia Tech [119-36, .768] – Has not had a season at or below .500 in the BCS era
6. Southern Cal [116-37, .758] – Pete Carroll rose this program from the ashes.

As you can see, San Diego State and UNLV really bring down the overall quality of the conference. If the MWC wished to replace those two schools with two others then Houston and Southern Miss would do wonders for the overall record and level of competition in the MWC. That would be still only be eleven teams in the conference so if they wished to expand they could easily add Tulsa, who would fit into the footprint of the conference. But, I digress.

I'm curious to why you have Florida State, Wisconsin, and Oregon above Miami in your top 10. Miami has a better winning percentage and a BCS championship.

All that means in that the ACC has played the second-easiest out-of-conference schedule. The conference records of all the teams in a single conference are going to add up to a .500 record.

I included BYU because they will become an Independent next year.
