If a team tries to Moss block NE, BB will take their soul. Moss hold out until tomorrow!

Free draft picks!

So what would be the tally on the Vikings' dealings with Moss? So far they've traded Randy Moss and a 3rd Rounder for Troy Williamson...

The Pats used 2nd-4th rounders on Cunningham, Spikes, Price, and Hernandez. Only Price hasn't had a huge impact so far...but he's a bit of a project at WR from a school that doesn't throw much. Interesting to think what that pick might become.

Ive been on the Patriots bandwagon for a long time now brother.

The pass rush in NE is very underrated. The main issue with this defense the past 3 years has been pass rush, and they're finally getting some. McCourty is a stud CB, he might become one of the best in the league soon enough.

Great safeties, great ILBs, very good and underrated dline. Underrated offense that wins with balance and can beat you with 2 TEs or spreading you out so they're versatile.

And they have playoff moxy under their belt. The Pats are back in their familiar SB winning role: A very good team that just keeps winning, but doesn't get the credit for being the best bc they aren't flashy like other teams who win a lot as well.

The Patriots are looking very dangerous to me right now.

This is a good football team. This is a good defense even, which a lot of us would never imagine saying at the start of the year or even after taking a look at the numbers in terms of yards and such. We're another starting caliber corner, a linebacker, and a defensive end away from being complete.

Just wait until next year after they've drafted Ingram/Green and cut the bit of aging dead weight still on the roster.

I'm thinking BB will hedge his bets (and rough draft history w/WRs) and throw his hat in the ring for (hopefully) Larry Fitzgerald or (more likely) Vincent Jackson.

I also doubt we see RB as a primary target early. Woodhead was locked up through 2012 recently and BJGE is playing solid in his role. Written in roll call form it's one hell of a law firm as:

Green Ellis, BenJarvis & Woodhead. lol

Patriots rushing attack averages 4.2 YPC, in spite of having 8 games scheduled against teams in the top 7 Rushing defense (YPC Defense).

It may not be explosive, but they surely can grind it out.

Here's a stat;
Danny Woodhead averages 6.5 yard per touch. Second best out of backs in the league to Jamaal Charles.

Vincent Jackson won't be a Patriot. Robert Kraft completely shut that down once he heard there was interest per Tom Curran. Probably for the best, Jackson seems like a prima donna and with two DUIs, is a danger to be suspended for an extended amount of time if he keeps getting in trouble. Larry Fitzgerald would be great but I don't think wide receiver is worth that kind of money when Brady makes it work no matter who we have. I could see a running back - BJGE has had a few nice games but it seems like a crapshoot sometimes as to whether or not he'll be a factor in games. At the least, I think they'll turn over some of the roster by replacing Morris/Taylor. The extended season will lead to more running back injuries and thus teams carrying more backs as well.

Yeah I can't see Vincent Jackson here, Fitzgerald would be great though.

This team has continued to impress me more and more every week. We have so many young players who have stepped up and have really been making huge contributions to this team. We have made a commitment to getting back to playing Patriots football circa 2003 which is what we need to do. Brady and Branch have great chemistry, Welker is still getting it done without Moss, and our rookie TE's have been great in the passing game. A guy who has been making a huge difference for us is Alge Crumpler, he is a great blocker and a great leader. Edelman has taken a step back, I think adding a #1 receiver like Ftiz would be a very good idea for our offense. Losing Maroney and giving Green-Ellis the reigns was a great move, and Woodhead has been a firecracker since we picked him up. The OL has been protecting Brady and playing well in the run game, and Mankins has made a noticeable difference to our team since coming back.

By looking at statistics our defense hasn't been amazing, but if you have seen us play this has been a very good unit. Wilfork has been dominant and the DL rotation of Wright, Deadrick, Pryor, G. Warren, and Brace has really been playing well in Ty Warren's absence. Mayo has been playing at an All-Pro level and a lot of that has to do with the addition of Spiked who has really been having an outstanding rookie year, we all knew he would be very good against the run but he has also been serviceable in coverage. Guyton has been good on third downs. The pass rush is improved but still could be better, Cunningham has showed a lot of promise and is starting over Banta-Cain. Jermaine really has looked explosive and plays with fire, he will be a starter for us. Ninkovich has been solid as well and has made some big plays for us. Out of our very good looking rookie class, McCourty has been the most impressive. He is our new Ty Law or Asante Samuel, he will be our #1. It is hazy after that, Darius Butler has been disappointing and Leigh Bodden has been hurt all year. Kyle Arrington is an effort guy but leaves something to be desired in coverage. Wilhite and Wheatley have looked OK at times, seeing Wheatley actually play is good I guess. Our safety play has been outstanding; Meriweather, Chung, and Sanders is a great unit.

Zoltan Mesko is a baller. Losing Gostkowski hurts, hopefully Shayne Graham works out. Tate hasn't made the impact receiving we though he would but he still is a promising returner and makes some plays receiving

This team looks like they could make a run, but there is a lot of youth. It all looks good right now, but that loss to Cleveland was scary. Can't have mental lapses like that, but one thing is for certain and that is we look good for the future. With all of this young talent and all of the quality picks we should have next year, if we have another class close to being what this one looks like it could be then watch out. Throw in a true #1 wideout, one or two more OL, another pass rusher, and maybe a top running back and this team could be scary good for a while.

You are correct I forgot about that. He was seeing the field a little before that, but he was a bust anyways.
