I would like to see a link to where Shannon was denying him back.

Cam Newton, in a way. We kicked him out and then he goes to Auburn.
Florida's list is long, as are all big schools'. This year, Waisome was a big one, Pagan decommitting, and then Wilder to some extent, because most UF people thought he was a silent.
As long as we hold onto Driskell, I will live.

Fred Smith.... let back on Michigan State's football team after serving jail time
Not sure if Smith really counts though. He was only a commit for a few hours...

And apparently with some cold cash on the barrelhead negotiations with Miss. St. in between.
Newton still claims he transferred (very suddenly) to Blinn College in Texas to "boost academics." So those 3 times caught cheating had nothing to do with being shown the door by Urban Meyer, or just a coincidence? No wonder Meyer had heart problems.
Better to have Tebow hoisting the Heisman than Newton. Trust me, Gator fans, you made out OK on that one.
Mavre was a highly ranked player (QB? never got the chance to play QB for the Tide) who left Bama in Shula's last yr for Miami at the last minute. IDK whatever happened to him....

Nothing has been written about Peterson's recruitment, but it's known that he (and Bryce Brown) tried to come back and Shannon said no.
