I think its funny that both the Giants and the Bucs finished 10-6 and slaughtered the Seahawks, will not make the playoffs, but Seattle, at 7-9, will compete for a chance to go to the Super Bowl. Not saying they'll succeed, but I mean, come on NFL at least don't give them a home game either.

For all the complaining, get out of the NFC East or South and into the West. Thats the only solution or else just get rid of division all together, then we won't have to hear about division winners making it to the playoffs.
First time in 90 years, its not like this will happen again, year after year so shut up about it. The Lions went 0-16, after how many decades since Tampa went 0-14?
You win your division you get rewarded. Maybe the Bucs should have beat ATL, to take the NFC south crown. Or ask for division realignment so you can play in the west division from south Florida.

Look on the brightside, assuming the Rams put a couple more weapons around Bradford and he progresses as expected that team should get at least 9 wins next year. The rest of the teams, though, have awful QB and defense play so are probably stuck in crapville for a while.

Yea the Rams offense just looked pitiful. They rarely took shots deep, it was so conservative, not the resemblance of an explosive offense what so ever. It was obvious watching them they were just a 2 win team and Bradford really did improve everyone around him but he can only take that team so far.
They need some sort of play-maker on offense, whether it's a speed back, WR, TE, a guy who you can throw to and score from anywhere. They definately need a #1 WR you can rely on.
What did impress me was Jason Smith and Roger Saffold. For the most part they held their own, I saw Saffold get stonewalled once but he's a rookie out there, and I made a point to watch and he looked impressive. Jason Smith will probably be considered a bust but he was doing a damn good job out there also, his athleticism still shows up for a guy his size and if he can stay healthy he should develop into one of the better RT's in the league.
Rams just need a few more pieces.

I see the same thing for Seattle. Upgrade the interior OL (and get Okung healthy), add a playmaker on the outside, and get some pieces for the defense and they'll be damn good, too. They have no shot at a first round QB, so they should go to Whitehurst. I think he improves greatly just from playing.
That division isn't going to be a laughing stock for very much longer.
