Spartacus Gods of the Arena premieres next friday. While it will fill some void I can't say I'm overly excited for this prequel. I just want to see a continuation of the story. We see the begginings of Doctore though. So sad they have officially closed the door on a Whitfield return. Dominic Purcell is said to be the favorite to land the role. Not sure of how I feel about that. IMO Purcell is a pretty cruddy actor and is too much of a brute without the mind of passion that Whitfield's character potrays. I fear Purcell's delivery of Spartacus will be far too similar to Crixus. At least they didn't scratch the show though.

Whitfield has cancer, can't return to the role. So they did a prequel.
Ever notice the crowd scenes in the arena? Ppl copulating & brawling with each other. Their promos reminded me of the WWF

In that everyone was told to yell, scream, hold up their signs and make a ruckus 30 seconds before the show goes on air by Howard Finkel?

Anyone ever notice in Californication how they work the phrase aggressively mediocre into the script every other episode?
(It's the name of its production company, see end credits :--) )
Almost finished with the 1st 2 seasons On Demand, Hank Moody is becoming my hero. Duchovny is ******* terrific!! A sex addict playing a...... well, a sex addict. Enviable character

Californication has become one of the best shows on TV. As fantastic as the 1st and 2nd seasons were, as I love Lew Ashby, the 3rd and beginning of the fourth tie in some great drama with the constant comedy.

Just finished season one of Community and Breaking Bad. Also started season one of Friday Night Lights. I love the first two, and FNL is also pretty good. Watching season two of Breaking Bad now, will continue Community afterwards. Pierce, Troy, and Abed ftw?

I have one more episode left and then I'm caught up with FNL. I just got Spartacus Sand and Blood, which is a show I've been curious about watching.

Watching the Golden Globes.
Couple thoughts: Not surprised that Bale won best supporting actor, Ricky Gervais needs to host a Comedy Central roast, and Katey Sagal is hot despite her age

Thank you Robert Deniro. It's kind of sad seeing how old him and Pacino have gotten. Travis Bickle ftw.

I go through phases with TBBT, loved it, then I was like, "**** this show" then a few weeks ago was all, "hey why did I hate this show again?" and watched the past season and a half of it.

I haven't been paying too much attention but if Glee is nominated for an award it's going to win apparently.
