How would you guys feel if we drafted hometown kid, Josh Gatlin? He is a CB from North Dakota State University. He is originally from Jacksonville and went to Englewood. He is currently projected to go somewhere between the 5-7th round. He is very fast and has great hands. this past season he led the Bison (who went to the FCS Quarterfinals) in INT's with 5 including 1 for a TD. How would you guys feel about using a later pick on him? I would be excited.

I'm sure Gene and company were watching him at the Texas vs The Nation game because they're always picking up guys from there, but it sounded like Ryan Jones from NW Missouri State had the best week of practices (not from first hand knowledge, just what I read). The hometown connection doesn't do anything for me. I felt the same way with Tebow last year and feel the same about Ponder this year. I don't really know if he'll be a Jaguar. Seems like a sleeper prospect, though.
