So that SHU game was wild again...after they gave Seton Hall the ball when it went off their player's head and then Seton Hall got fouled and knocked down two FT's to make it a two point game I almost went nuts. Glad we won, definitely not good at all, still need Stokes back badly although there are a lot of other problems. About half as many turnovers as field goal attempts today...ugly.
Also, I love James Bell. Lots. Wouldn't have had a chance without him. He was great.

Winning at Marquette is another nice win for St. John's. Dwight Hardy is trying to make a case for Big East player of the year.
Now it's time to take down Pitt at the Garden.

3. Their stadium is talked like a churchly place.

5. Pretty much every game they play is considered a rivalry. Yeah, NC State-Duke...sure, sure....
So right now, it may not be a fair compairson cuz Notre Dame is down with a coach who is rebuilding, and Duke is higher than ever with well, I gotta say with the best college basketball coach ever. But Duke is kinda like that.

Haha I pretty much just made that quote because ND hasn't won a title in God knows how long and we kind of just came off a title. It's true they do get the ESPN lovefest which annoys the hell outta me seeing as how ESPN only covers about 15 sports teams (Duke, UNC, Lakers, Celtics etc.) But atleast I can always watch my team play. I pretty much group Cameron Indoor with Rupp, Fog Allen, Dean Dome etc. And as holy as Coach K may be I still think that Wooden guy is the mecha.
And rivalry wise every team gets up to play Duke but really the only wins I want badly are those two with UNC. I guess beating up on Maryland can be nice on occasions. But they "aren't our rivals" according to most Duke fans.

Interesting fact: Only 2 former Duke players have won an NBA championship; 1 in the pre-Coach K era.
Former UNC players have won a total of 25 titles.
Reps to anyone who can name the 2 Duke players.

Danny Ferry has to be one of them. Don't know the other and too lazy to look it up.

St. John's takes down Pitt in the Garden thanks to a buzzer beater layup by Dwight Hardy. Wow, what a magical season for the Red Storm. I'm so pumped.

If I had to like another team I think it would be them.
I had a feeling they would give Pitt a tough game since it was at home. What if they won the title lol!
Anyway we are on ESPN right now, looking rough in the early stages. BC fans should be happy though that they have a game on national televison but by no means am I saying we couldn't slip up and lose.

Let's not jump the gun yet. GT is no pushover. And I'm positive OSU is not going to come out shaky tomorrow.

Refs just jobbed us big time against Syracuse. Oh well this team plays tough for Rice so when we get equal talent it's really going to show.

They're all coasting. Games are meaningless at this point for those teams.

That game was before UNC put it together. GT is awful. And the game is in Durham. Guaranteed 20 point win.

I honestly think we should probably have about 3 more Big East wins. This game, St. Johns, and Pitt have been the worst with the refs.

He hit him. Fischer admitted it after the game. The FT differential in tonight's game was 49-16. That's absurd.

True but we lost by like 20..... they have SOME talent.
Shumpert is pretty good when he wants to be as well as Glen Rice Jr. That being said, it is the ACC (competitive), Duke should and probably will win..

Geezus Norris Cole has 24 of his teams 29 first half points. This kid will be in the NBA, I just have a feeling. Still though CAA is flexing their mid major muscles and IMO if ODU wins them and George Mason deserve tourny bids regardless of conference tournament results and you can even argue for VCU who could very well win the conference tourny and send 3 CAA teams. I always take the position that I'll take a great mid major team over an underacheiving team in a major conference who can't even win over half of their conference games.
