Yea but the shooter jumped into him. He was straight up. No call was the right call, but if a call was made, it wouldn't have been the worst call ever or anything like that.

Shooters jump into players all the time and it gets called, thats the point i'm trying to make. Literally happens almost every game and in the same situation (not every game) but it has happened. And faried was in the air, albeit straight up.

It just seems to me like a situation of refs swallowing the whistles late. You're far more likely to see a no-call in that situation on any level of the sport.

I guess i'm a little bitter because I've watched every game for Louisville this season and in particular that WVU game where they called a foul 70 feet away from the basket with under a second left with a tie game. That seems to be a situation where they should swallow the whistle but they didn't. There needs to be some consistency.
