Nate Silver projects that Kansas has a 43% chance to win the whole thing. That's pretty remarkable that one team is as likely to win a tournament as the other seven combined.

That explains this year haha.
They are the champion in my bracket..2/4 final four teams left, Kansas/UNC remaining and Dook and MSU lost.
This is gold.

Matt Painter might be the next Missouri coach.

Why would he leave Purdue for Missouri?

Yeah, I don't get it either. The answer must be money.

I can't imagine he's doing it for any other reason than to get more money out of Purdue. Purdue is a much better program, and he's a Purdue alum.
Edit: Just saw that Painter makes 1.325 a year. That's 8th in the Big Ten. Pay the damn man Purdue, you're a basketball school.

Couple of reasons. Firstly Purdue loses their entire team practically with Etwan and JuJan graduating. Maybe he doesn't want to take part of a rebuild and with Sullinger declaring he's staying the Big 10 got that much harder. At Missouri he steps into an extremely favorable position. Missouri was a top 25 team this year and they return their entire roster. He's more likely to win especially with Tristan Thompson and probably Jordan Hamilton declaring at Texas and the Morris twins likely gone as well. Missouri could be a stepping stone for a big time job.

Can't believe Butler has made 2 straight final 4's. This team has no reason to be in the final 4 beyond Mack and Howard the team is incredibly thin, my only explanation is that Stevens is an incredible coach with guys who buy in 100%

well first of all i'd like to thank kenny boynton for taking one of the dumbest ******* shot(s) imaginable with 23 seconds on the clock in ot. then id like to thank the refs for getting the game to ot. if a florida player touched a butler player it was a ******* foul. butler had no business winning that game, but florida gave it to them.

Such an easy path to the championship for Kansas. A 9 seed, a 12 seed, an 11 seed, and an 8 seed. ******* incredible.

He has a hell of a story. I'd love to see what he could do with a bigger program. Best young coach in the game.

Also, I just don't get billy donovan sometimes. Such a great coach but for ***** sake, our bigs touched the ball like 2 times in the last 8 minutes. I could have abused butlers bigs and our biggest leads came when macklin was getting touches but we started to force bad jumpers and ignore the front court.

No thanks then, Missouri wants a guy who views Missouri's head coaching job as THE job. Not another Mike Anderson mess. A Gary Pinkel of there basketball program if you will.

If Kansas doesn't outrebound VCU by 20 I'd be shocked. Basically Kansas just has to make sure they get a shot at the rim so they can play volleyball. VCU's only chance is if they hit an absurd percentage of their 3's and Kansas misses easy put backs. Love VCU but Kansas is the worst possible matchup for them. VCU vs Butler would be a pretty awesome final 4 matchup though.

Kansas has to establish themselves early like they did in the Richmond game and not let VCU hang around.
