What's really telling is that Miami let Haith go without exercising the buyout clause! Hilarity. They wanted him to GTFO. Maybe this is where Shaka ends up. Either that or he gets a healthy payraise and sticks around VCU.

Again sorry boys. Shaka is going no where like I said pages ago. Hope the U snags a solid coach though.

I hope he stays. Money does talk at some point. Everyone has a price. Sometimes that price isn't realistic, so they stay.
These great coaches staying at smaller schools is awesome, IMO. Look at what having a great coach did for Duke. They've become a huge brand.
Before Duke basketball was big, they were just a very good academic school. There are plenty of those kinds of schools that the country knows nothing about. It's a great synergy, IMO.

Funny worthless unrelated note, but VCU has produced more NBA first rounders than Duke in the last 5 NBA drafts.

True money does talk. That is why Shaka is gonna be raking in some great money thanks to this run & according to my sources. I can't wait until the word is 100% official. I know the city is waiting to erupt.

Jalen Rose says that's because they are just try hard white kids. That doesn't work in the NBA.

I'm going to give Alden the benefit of the doubt. All of his hires have been pretty solid for the school, other than Quinn Snyder.

There was a clear goaltend that was ignored and dude got completely hacked on that 3-pointer at the end. Refs are just completely terrible in this game.

I agree, not one sided either, they seem to suck for both teams tonight.

Did Barkley just say the first half reminded him of his high school days when he dated ugly girls?

I'd agree if this weren't a large series of bricks thrown up at the rim, some of them going in.

You can't knock their effort but c'mon this is the championship game. 90% of execution is converting. For championship teams to be blowing open shots like this is horrific to watch. It's like if we were watching the Packers vs Colts and both teams ran perfect fly routes but each time Rodgers and Manning overthrew the open receivers by 10 yards. This game just horrible to watch, it brings me back to my days of high school ball. Perfect sets and plays, no one can hit a shot to save their life.
