Boy, and to think I thought he was overpayed in Detroit . . .

Wow Al Wilson will most likely NOT be traded. Detroit doesnt want him, Giants failed him and Phily traded for Spikes. No one wants Wilson anymore and he wil l probably stay with us. It has also been mentioned(from an unknown teammate) that Big Al wants to stay in Denver.
He will likely start next year but he will have his contract restructured. TRUST ME this will be a big blessing in disguise. He always plays even when he is hurt and he will be great next year too. (We probs will still pick up a LB on the first day to give an insurance policy and future)

you think wilson would restructure? cause this would be the best case senario we would have one of the best Defences in the league. My guess is hes gonna refuse to restructure and get cut, and then the lions or some other team picks him up.
i cant imagine NO ONE wants al wilson. He can get a job somewhere if realeased.

I still don't know why they don't let Dominique Foxworth get his chance. Good deal though, but I can't understand why they shell out all this money with Wilson a potential cap casualty in the future.

foxy will likely stay at S
wilson will not be back in denver unless he's unable to sign with any other team as a free agent, i think the denver office has made it quite clear they have no interest in bringing him back.

I've actually heard the opposite. I heard he's back fully as a corner and will be the nickel.

i'll believe that if we address S on draft day. as of right now, i can't imagine he wouldn't go back to safety, unless bates has the same moronic hard-on for nick ferguson that coyer did.

I'm sure Domonique stating he was not going to let Bly have the starting job hints something. Foxworth will be a corner, he never played well as a safety and it doesn't make sense for him to go back there. The Broncos don't trust Paymah as their nickel just yet, and I'm sure the odds are more in favor of the Broncos drafting a S than a CB.

he didn't play well as a safety because coyer had him playing SS and playing up for run support, which was utterly idiotic considering john lynch was on the roster.

Well, that's exactly why Coyer isn't here anymore.. lol
But, it still doesn't make sense, because that would leave an opening at nickel. Foxworth is perfect for that postition, and his personal preference is to stay at corner. The Broncos will draft a safety.. although I said that last year.
Besides, haven't you heard? The Broncos are supposedly high on Cargile/Abdullah/Cox. They are high alright..

im anxious to see how good of a year bly has being the #2, and playing lots of man to man...with champ not getting tested too often, he has a chance to put up great numbers

I would like to respond with a song, or actually, THE song they played for Bly as they presented him his contract:
Bachman Turner Overdrive - You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet
