The Killing spoilers below, my thoughts on who the killer is. Would love to hear other people's thoughts.
I really think the killer is Sarah's fiancee, Rick. A lot of subtle clues have been mentioned and they still need to hash out Sarah's character as a person.
- During the first (or second, I can't remember) episode, Sarah's flashlight does not work properly. This could be because Rick was using the flashlight to chase down Rosie earlier.
- As far as motive goes, Rick could have committed the murder for Mayor Adams or someone close to Adams (possibly the black guy) and put the body in a Richmond campaign car for political sabotage purposes, and then received a large sum of money in return for his services.
- Sarah has almost lost her child before to social services, showing that she isn't the most stable parent or person. Rick could possibly be a serial killer and attracted to Sarah partly because he loves her and also because he knows she is addicted to her work and will give him a lot of personal time.
- The hidden meaning behind Rick wanting Sarah to leave Seattle as soon as possible. Find it hard to believe someone that in love with a person would be that anxious for Sarah to leave something that's obviously very important to her without some kind of hidden meaning.
- Rick being the killer could pave the way for Sarah to remain in Seattle for Season 2. Are we supposed to believe the main character of the show is really going to move away at the end of the season, particularly when they have more seasons planned? I like Holder and think he could man the ship if this is the case but I really doubt they will have Sarah leave for good after one season.
- The way they have portrayed Rick is strange to me, just the way he has appeared in scenes. Particularly right after Sarah is watching the tape that Rosie made.
- Everyone else is too obvious at this point. Admittedly, I am not sure what to make of my hunch after last night's episode with the revelation that the creepy guy with the telescope saw Bennet and a "smallish figure" putting a body wrapped in towels/blankets into a black car. I still think Bennet is almost completely a red herring at this point. This would make sense considering the Mayor bashed Richmond for siding with a murder suspect and could lead to Richmond's inevitable resurgence into the mayoral race. Richmond could then reap the benefits of backing his community leader and make Adams look like a douche.
- Just seems too early for Bennet to be truly responsible. The show's marketing has been about the mystery of Rosie's murder all along and revealing the murderer in episode 6 or 7 doesn't fit.
- The aunt is still sketchy to me, and has been from day one. Don't know where to go with that thought based on what we know.
I just watched the first three episodes (counting the 2 hr episode as one)
Friggin' love it. My wife is hooked to it as well. Watched til 2am and my wife didn't want to go to bed.
Wanted to watch more lol Had to convince her to save some for tomorrow.
Definitely catching up with the show tonight.
I would recommend watching 'Talking Funny' on HBO if you're interested in stand-up comedy, or just comedians in general.
I caught that. It was OK. Kinda of think it needed some kind of presenter. It got kinda lost at times. They should either just talk shop and edit the funny parts only or try some kind of guided discussions on how stand up and being funny works.
Lie to Me
Human Target
Chicago Code
Traffic Light
Breaking In
all got cancelled. Human Target target getting canceled makes me sad although I'm hearing its being replaced by a comedy starring Zooey Deschanel so that makes it less sad although Guerrero might have been one of the best characters on TV.
Chicago Code was alright, decent watch but nothing too special.

The 3 in bold were shows I enjoyed. I am bummed they're going off the air. Breaking In really sucked though. Tired of pathetic beta males slobbering over unreachable females being such a big device in TV.
It's really not worth getting into any show Fox puts out, they never keep any of their shows past a season or 2, somehow they manage to renew Bob's Burgers, lol.

Did they really? Bleh. They need to cancel that and the Cleveland Show. The only one I really like of that cartoon lineup is American Dad. The Simpsons arent even watachable now, and Family Guy mostly sucks.
Problem with fox is that all of their shows are such high budget shows, so even if they are doing decent in ratings if they aren't doing great they have to cancel them. I can probably list 10-20 Fox shows that I kind of got into that they ended up cancelling. They've been trying to find the magic they created with 24 but have failed miserably. At this point every show they put out is basically a poor almost spinoff of shows like 24, lost, House, etc. Fox has zero orginality. That and because of American Idol, the dance show they have, and that new show Simon Cowell is bringing they consume all the important time slots. They will premiere a new show on a prime time slot then within 2 or 3 episodes will have it on Friday night, doesn't sound like a recipe for success to me. But I suppose as long as American Idol is a ratings juggernaut they could care less about creating lasting shows.
Community still at 8 and Parks and Rec at 8:30 on Thursdays. They'll most likely going up against Simon Cowell's the X Factor in the Fall and then American idol in the Spring. Not looking good for Community and Parks. Hopefully Parks has gained a strong following and the move won't hurt them too badly.
