I love how a barrel of oil can drop 20% over a couple of weeks time and the gas at the pump drops about 5% if we're lucky.
Inflation does factor in, but I believe the pipelines from the Gulf help keep the Southeast generally cheaper. Also gas tax(SC's fourth lowest in the nation at 16.8 cpg, Cali's highest in the nation at 47.7 cpg).
