Ugh, I hope not. AJ, Joe, Beer Money, MCMG, and so many others would be ruined in WWE.

There is no money to be made on TNA. Why would Vince buy it? If WWE wants the wrestlers they can sign them. They have no history and no valuable video library. Maybe WWE would be interested in them if TNA lasts for 30 more years, and they can rise up to where WCW was and actually be some competition to WWE. Otherwise, it doesn't make sense.

The problem with TNA is that it held so much promise when it started. They signed some great wrestlers from ROH (Joe, Styles, Daniels, etc...) and brought in a living legend (Sting) to help give the rub for the new wrestlers. Then it fell apart. Cornette left. They started bringing in the leftovers of WWE. Hogan, Bishoff, and others began having a hand in creative and started pushing the old WWE wrestlers and not the new guys.
TNA would be on the rise again if it went back to what made it great. The X Division is great but shouldn't be pigeonholed. Fans enjoy top-flight entertainment and all of the young guys on the roster are capable of that. They don't need the old guys, they need the new ones. Its part of why WCW failed. They don't push the young guys and use the old guys to give the rub to those that need it most. They push their best entertainers to the back burners.
I hate it. If they had even slightly competent management the promotion could become a threat to the WWE. They'll never be what they could have been as long as they continue down the path their going on.
Hopefully, ROH continues to gain momentum and gets better and better tv deals. If Punk goes to ROH and Styles & Joe plus others leave to compete with ROH and a new, broader TV contract then ROH would eclipse TNA quickly.

Why is Daniels often mentioned with the "young guys"? He's 40. That's like saying Chris Jericho is a young guy.
TNA does need to push certain young guys (Styles and Roode foremost among them..Roode is 34, so not that young). But the biggest problem is that their booking doesn't make sense, and it's never made much sense. TNA was recognizable for having a lot of guys who could put together a good youtube clip of high spots, but their ring psychology has never been great, and the general storytelling has gone from unoriginal to ridiculous to non-existant.
Neither company is telling great stories right now, but at least WWE usually tells stories that make sense. Russo has ruined almost every character in TNA because they have no characters. They change sides for no seeming reason whatsoever and start feuds for no seeming reason whatsoever. It's ridiculous.
If they could create a compelling reason why Sting and Scott Steiner need to fight, I would be interested in that match even though both guys are near 50, because both guys are talented when put in the right program. But there is no program. Sting is now the joker, and Steiner joins Immortal for reasons that aren't explained and never will be. So I don't care about their fight because I'm not invested in either character beyond the fact that both were cool twenty years ago.

I love how last week he was ready to rip Bully Ray's head off and a week later there buddy buddy makes total sense.
If it wasn't for RVD and AJ I would not even bother.

After about three weeks of them building up Gunner, including what looked to be a face turn when he beat up Anderson and the crowd responded well to him, they put him back as a lackey for Hogan. EL OH EL.

Gunner is crap. He is not talented at anything at all. He is not interesting on the mic. He is also not a good wrestler. Don't see why he gets pushed over all the people he does.
