He's being sarcastic. Jeter is obviously not the 1st but everyone is making it seem that way. I understand it was very storybook-ish how he did it on a HR to tie up the game, whent 5-5 and had the game winning RBI all at home, and the kid caught it and gave it back for free. But come on already, it happened, it's over, move on. And this is coming from a die-hard Jeter/Yankee fan.
