The comments on Schefter's facebook are hilarious in regards to Leonard Davis and Marion Barber. Those "fans" have obviously been paying attention as of late.

Marion Barber cut:

"What??? Why in the hell would they release their best playmaker?"

"Wow, that was unexpected."

"What a SURPRISE! Come to Denver!"

Leonard Davis cut:

"Why would they do that? lmao"

"whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"

"Wrong move for the Cowboys."

I hope the release of Barber means more carries for Tashard Choice, who is better than Barber anyways. But I doubt it. Jason Garrett seems to hate Choice and drafted DeMarco Murray in the third round.

Ray Edwards was the Falcons' reported top target around draft time, but they've switched their sights to Johnson. Johnson is a younger pass rusher than Edwards and has been more productive with a far worse supporting cast, so he'd be our preferred target as well. While the Panthers will do what they can to bring back Johnson, it's clear they'll have to pay up big time.

I still think there's almost no chance he leaves Carolina, but good to know we're going after him. I don't buy the whole "Ray is overrated, only good because of that DL" argument as much as everyone else seems to, but I'd definitely rather get Charles Johnson.

I doubt we will hear much of anything about Ray Edwards in the coming seasons. I've never thought he was very good.

Ha. Are you serious? 4-58 with 22 guaranteed is the minimal offer even to get your foot in the door. He's going to make much more than that.
