At this point, the only reason Brown isn't trading Palmer is because he'll look weak if he does. Never mind that he's cutting off his nose to spite his face, which is beyond idiotic...Just another reason why they're the Bungals. It's like saying "Hey, we don't need a free second round draft pick, we'd rather keep our principles!"
It sounds bad, but I think people in Cincinnati will celebrate his death (he's 74, so maybe it isn't too far away) whenever it happens. He has destroyed that franchise. He has a .359 winning percentage, which equates to just under 6-10 per season. What an embarrassment!
Look at it this way, if Rodgers had Allstate instead of State Farm, he'd be protected from mayhem like this

They run variations of cover 2 and cover 3, but they also play a lot of man.
The bigger problem is that most people don't understand that tampa 2 and cover 2 aren't the same thing. Almost every team runs some cover 2, and tampa 2 teams run coverages that aren't cover 2.

They both end in "2". That's good enough for me.

Eggzactly.
Morris changes up the defense and runs a lot of different coverages and formations.

Mike Brown is a moron for not entertaining trades for Palmer. You might as well get what you can, try to stockpile draft picks to build your team up in the future with the young nucleus you are using to replace Palmer and Chad Johnson.
I'm sure Palmer would be as attractive to team as Kolb or Orton is.
Sounds like Brown is on a ridiculous ego trip. Instead of actually helping his team he wants to show who the big man is.

Reports saying it's very likely Zach Miller will remain a Raider. There isn't much of a market for TE's and Miller has expressed to the team that he wants to stay
My favorite part about it is that Brown is bitching that Palmer signed a contract but teams have no problem cutting someone after they blow out a leg or trading them to a destination they possibly wouldn't want to go, but when Palmer says hes going to essentially quit his job if he isn't relocated (yes i am wording it like that) Brown gets all pissy about it.

No one runs a true Tampa 2 anymore. It's a dead scheme. The last team to run it were the Colts under Dungy.
Some teams still use some of the principles, but there's so much variation nowadays that there's no point of even labeling defenses anymore.

Carmelo Anthony is a better and more productive player than Kevin Durant

Every team in the league runs both man and zone. No team in the league is strictly 1 or the other.
Some teams just prefer one over the other for majority of their coverages. But every single team runs both.
Of course, but lets put it this way. Aso didn't become a top 2 corner in this league because of his ability to play zone. Spending huge money on him by any team that runs zone for the majority of their coverages just doesn't seem like the best use of their funds. Especially now that we are back in the salary cap era.
