It's a great pick up for the Rams, they needed to get Bradford a go to guy.

Got him now, if I've missed any others point them out, it's not easy to keep up with everything, some trackers are way out of date too.

I'm glad someone realize how underrated Harper has been the past two seasons. He is a very important clog in Gregg Williams' scheme and an absolute tremendous blitzer and great in run support. Depending on the game, he can be decent in coverage as well.. the game against the Seahawks notwithstanding. Is it a lot? Debatable - Eric Weddle's deal completely changed the whole dynamic of things and I think Roman Harper > Eric Weddle by a good margin. It'd rather we'd re-sign Harper rather than what.. having Chris Reis or the UDFA SS McDaniel from Clemson starting, that's for sure.

I'm sensing a touch of homer here...

Flyboy might be overrating Harper a bit, but he's quite good and definitely an extremely important part of that defense. I think most people might be judging him too much based on how horrendous he looked vs. SEA.

Bradford will ball out this season, Danario Alexander will have a breakout year with Mike Sims-Walker taking on the #1 CBs.

The Rams are still going to have a need at WR next year...that's all I know.
This was the team I was hoping Sam Hurd would go to. Their receiving core is incredibly shaky.

You can't even acknowledge his weakness. He has Roy Williams level coverage skills. There's a reason you didn't hear his name involved in any rumors, and while it's in part due to the contract the Saints came up with, it's also in part because most other teams wouldn't start him. If the Colts gave Addai a contract like this, I'd call it a horrible deal, and I'd say that Addai is more valuable to the Colts than Harper to the Saints.

That offense would be pretty damn good. Edwards, Marshall, Bush, Thomas, ..... nevermind ... no QB.

Drew Coleman is a good signing for the Jags. He'll get beat in coverage but he is a damn good blitzer from the secondary.

Yet they are trying to go and or have gotten Kyle Orton so he is a big upgrade over any QB they already have/had.

You love you some Sam Hurd lol. The Rams have like 8 WR's like him. He's not better then Danario Alexander, or more useful then Danny Amendola for that role. Hurd is a solid WR to play special teams and fill out the bottom of the roster, I like him too but he would have probably gotten cut from STL.
I think more teams our GM's would know he has starting ability other then just you. Every team has a Sam Hurd. Hell Bobby Sippio who I don't even think has 1 NFL career catch is a much better WR then Hurd ever was, he just can't play special teams. He's a much better WR though and he had to go back to arena.
If Hurd wasn't a monster ST player, he wouldn't have any interest to begin with.

Hurd had interest from 4 different teams to play WR. I wanted him in a position where he could compete for playing time. The Rams have a whole lot of nothing...so he'd have a solid chance there. Damn near anyone would have a decent chance in St. Louis. Their WR situation could shake out in a number of different ways, given an open competition. The same could be said about Chicago, though....to a lesser extent, especially with Roy there now.
In regard to Hurd and others like him...all you can hope for is for a real opportunity. And given that opportunity, I think Hurd is more than talented enough to win a 2 or 3 job.

Just a gut feeling, but I think Plex is a Steeler by the end of the weekend.

The only way Any team beats out the Bengals for the 1st overall pick is if Andy Dalton can actually be more then a backup in the NFL.
