yes but that's not benching someone that's giving them a off day, Kelly Johnson was a every day player. Didnt start 19 games all year, only 2 non-starts consecutively

plus how would benching a guy who is hitting .200 with sub par defense be considered a bad thing?

Dude used to be more of a stud than he is now...the guy was just ridiculously good in 06 and 07. I had bigger expectations. The fact that he could put up those type of numbers as a free swinger of sorts, was nothing short of amazing to me. Happy to have him back.
