To be fair the offensive line was a disaster on that play. Still an awful throw.

That entire drive, really. The left side got bitched on badly.
Pretty confident LSU is going to run out of gas before Alabama now. They look very, very beatable.

Bama is like 3 deep at every position. They are going to run all day on LSU.

Good God Craig James is stupid. Says Oklahoma has a better running game than FSU and are averaging 250 ypg on the ground, but making it seem like they do it all the time. Well no ****, Craig. They've only played one game you douche.

I'm going to call an early 'upset'.
WVU over LSU in Morgantown next Saturday.

Trying to make it two whiffs in a row, eh?
LSU's defensive line is full of GODS! This is the best defense in the country and only Bama's is even close.
As long as Jarrett Lee isn't throwing multiple picks during games, they can win a national championship with this defense and running game.
Only problem is I don't think they can beat Bama, especially not in Tuscaloosa. But they'll smother WVU.

How is LSU #3?

Where would you have LSU ranked? Where do you think they belong?
They held #3 Oregon to 95 yards rushing, and absolutely dominated that game physically. They blew Oregon out... who likes to run up the score on helpless defenses. You don't see them pulling that **** on SEC defenses do you?
LSU let up two garbage touchdowns to Oregon with a few minutes left in the 4th quarter when they were up 33-13.
They just held #25 Miss. St. to 50 yards rushing... and 6 points. Miss. St. was averaging 46 points/game.
They're doing this without their starting quarterback, and starting WR (Russell Sheppard). Not to mention their OC had to step down just prior to the season after being diagnosed with a disease.
I'd say they reason they're #3 is because they're one of the top 3 teams in the country.

Two whiffs? I mean I wouldn't call the Miss St upset pick a whiff. I was wrong but through three quarters, Miss St was within 3. The final was 19-6. A whiff would be an LSU blowout.
Smother WVU? With what offense? Please explain the logic. WVU is a lot better than Miss St. Everyone underestimates the WVU defense year in and year out. It has been the offense losing us games the last couple of years under the incompetent Bill Stewart. Holgerson actually has half of a brain when it comes to how to run an offense so we should see quite a game. I suppose you missed last year's game in Death Valley. Patrick Peterson won that game on returns alone and Bill Stewart had no idea how to run an offense in a pressure situation. This game in Morgantown will be completely different. WVU is going to try to control the tempo, make it a completely different pace that LSU is uncomfortable with. Though, they have to get by Maryland in Maryland first.

LSU deserves their ranking right now. They beat a top 3 team and a top 25 team in 3 weeks of play so far. So it's not like their ranking is unwarranted.
Jarrett Lee is better than Jordan Jefferson, so they aren't without their starting QB. Russell Sheppard will be back for the WVU game.

Well, it's a good thing Miss. St. cancelled classes so that they could prepare for that game...

.....I accept this rationale. It's pretty much a given that no one at the school is going to class today either, but imagine if you had to go for whatever reason? Today would suck hardcore.
Also, tomorrow Iowa is either going to win a close game 31-27 or something, or Pitt will blow us out 38-14 and it will be the first time in like 5 years we lose by more than a TD. I have a really bad feeling about tomorrow...

Watch out for Anthony Gonzalez, Pittsburgh RS Freshmen. He's back from suspension and could see a lot of time in the H Back role and even under center if Sunseri keeps sucking.

I can't see any team led by Sunseri beating Iowa. I mean, he got benched against MAINE. MAINE.

Ah, you must have missed our game last weekend. While I don't normally put much stock into one game, especially early in the season, we could not stop the run to save our life. Against Iowa St. and a first year QB and RB.
Also, we might be the worst BCS team at defending a spread offense, especially one that runs plays quickly. As long as Pitt plans to run 90% of the time, and only pass 1-5 yards down field, we're ******.
Has anyone seen what the line is on the game? I can't check any kind of sites while at work.

He was probably referring to the fact that they've had great running games going back to Bud Wilkinson in the 50s. I'm not saying James is anything special but there's worse than him out there.

Sort of interested in the Stanford at Arizona game. I expect the Zona defense to play better than they did at OSU but Luck should be able to carve up that secondary. The legend will continue to grow.
On a sidenote a couple more losses by the Seahawks and they can start printing up #12 jerseys. (sorry 12th man)
