Tigers in 5.
Is C.C. starting game 4? What's the Yankees rotation gonna be?

They were trying to trade for Bruce Chen. So maybe they're desperate enough to try it.

The Immortal Tim Wakefield, or the Uncanny John Lackey. Possibly the Clutch Kid, Erik Bedard. Either way, a win is a lock.

Andrew Miller, Tim Wakefield, John Lackey 1 inning each. Not by design of course. They'd each surrender 45 runs forcing a pitching change.

What magic? They aren't exactly grabbing this opportunity down the stretch. Boston has just been blowing it.

They would have had to get that done by like 5PM earlier today. Bruce Chen pitched 8 innings for the Royals tonight. They were trying to get him for tomorrow.

ANSWER MY GOD DAMN QUESTION!
Don't take offense to my fear of Tampa more than New York.

I know, I'm just saying the thought of trading for Bruce Chen for an elimination game crossing your mind means you're short on options.

Probably. Yankees have no problem pitching CC on short rest. That's what won them the World Series 2 years ago. CC's ability to do that and Lee's reluctance not to.
CC, Nova, and Garcia probably.

Based on how he pitched today, they should have ******* done it... But the Royals weren't giving him away. He's going to be at least a Type-B free agent.

Seriously, Wren has to realize how awful Fredi is. No wonder Hanley hated him.
