I think FIU vs. Arkansas State will actually be a fun game to watch.
I'm going to the UCF-UAB game on Thursday. I don't imagine it will be that great of a game so I only have two wishes. 1). A Knights victory and 2). My wife and I don't get stabbed at Legion Field. Anyone else going to any exciting games this week?

Air Force could actually be a really tricky game for Boise State. Triple Option teams are always a challenge, especially if your team isn't used to facing them. They're not built to play from behind, so if you get up early on them they'll have a hard time coming back. But if you let them hang around, they can become damn hard to beat.

And that's exactly where Boise is good at. They'll drop 35 on them in the first half and be fine.

It's hard to drop 35 on a team that runs the ball and eats clock.
Triple options teams are always a tricky out. This game could be surprisingly close for many.

Boise can't afford for this game to be close, they have to blow everyone out

It is true. I just don't think it'll be that easy. Air Force can run, and even if Boise keeps them out of the endzone, Boise is going to have fewer possessions than they're used to and we could easily see a 28-16 type of game.
And let's not forget, their loss last year was to Nevada who was heavy running team out of the pistol.

I'm currently sitting in Legion Field. It's such a freaking dump! I've seen nicer high school stadiums.

Higher than that. The fewer of Luck/Jones/Barkely who come out, the higher Foles will go.
This game is a poor example since UCLA is playing some of the worst defense ever, but Foles game revolves entirely around making one read and throwing to the guy. Not a fan of that...

that was awesome watching that fight unfold, but seeing the Pacers-Pistons fight in '04 live is still the best TV sports fight event ever.
