Allteraun Verner: Question

As a Bucs fan, I haven't watched to much of the Titans. However, I was always a fan of CB Verner, the 2nd year guy out of UCLA.

I know he had a huge impact his rookie year and want to know how his performance has been so far this year. He was one of my favorite CB prospects and as a Bucs fan, was dissapointed they took Myron Lewis over Verner in round 3.

He's been excellent.

He started outside and inside at NB last year, and played well at both. He's a great zone CB, and his awareness and ability to jump routes is amazing. This season, he's the 3rd CB behind Finnegan and McCourty. But in our nickel package, ATV goes outside and Finnegan goes inside to NB. So while he's technically our 3rd CB, he's playing outside and covering the offense's #1 or #2 WR.

We love him. Total fan favorite. The guy just makes plays.
