It's 64 teams. Are you telling me the Gators aren't one of the 64 best teams in the nation?

I'm a Gator fan as well, so I do understand the harsh sentiments towards the Gators....losing 4 in a row, blowout losses to LSU and Alabama, a tough loss to Auburn (prob my most hated team in the nation) and Georgia (possibly Florida's main rival), is just uncalled for....
That being said, we've faced a lot of tough luck this year. We're transitioning from Urban Meyer's spread to Charlie Weis's pro-style, which is not an easy one. Our defense has talent, but it doesn't seem to matter when the offense isn't putting up its production. Too many penalties, bad bounces, etc. IMO, Georgia should've beat us by two or three scores with the effort we put out there in the second half.
All in all, Florida's talent alone has it among the top 64 teams in the country.
Also, Florida was #63 in this...Mississippi State was #64

i mean obviously it's been a transition year, but the fact is this team is ******* dumb. and that's not a transitional thing. if you have dumb players and your coaches try to fix it on a week-to-week basis and you're still one of the dumbest teams in the nation? there's a big problem there.

The Gators are bad this year but they aren't THAT bad. Let's actually look at it.
39 teams have a record worse than the Gators. So automatically, the Gators are at least in the top 81.
14 Teams have the same record. But I think we can agree that the Gators are better than WKU, La Tech, UTEP,and ECU, making Florida at least top 77.
23 teams have a record of one game better than the Gators. But are you telling me FIU, WMU, NIU, EMU, Ball State, Air Force, and Toledo are better than Florida? This would make them at least top 70.
And I'm pretty sure Florida is better than Vandy, Utah, UCLA, Purdue, Iowa State, Wake Forest, Nevada, and Hawaii. The Gators are at least top 62, and probably more like top 50.

Does LSU beat Miami by more or less than the 40-3 curbstomping in the 2005 Peach Bowl?

Florida State would probably beat WVU, and I went to WVU.
