The writers have ****** this show up badly. There is so much potential still and they're sticking with the same plots and jokes they've used before.
I swear I could write better storylines in my sleep.
And damn it, we haven't even hit the low of lows when Catherine Tate returns.

The episode was not great at all. I did love Robert California in this episode. His story at the end was one of the best things to happen in the Office for a while.

They need to add a new employee to the mix. They keep adding and nixing people at the management and higher levels, but we haven't gotten new office employees since Erin, and before that, it was when the two branches merged.

They really could be doing more. I love this show but the episodes are just solid this season. I think that the core of the show is good enough to continue to be good but their really is just nothing going on in these episodes. There needs to be a plot of some sort. I know you need to establish how the new office will works and some characters need to be fleshed out more, but there is no advancement.
The show is almost a shell of what it was with Michael Scott. He was the engine that made the show run.

This is a discussion thread and more of us are unhappy with the direction of the show than not, so we're gonna continue to voice our concerns.
Sigh.

I completely disagree. I thought he was absolutely miserable in her interview. She might have been my least favorite character in the history of the show.

They should not have cut this second deleted scene from the episode:
http://www.officetally.com/the-offic...deleted-scenes
Watch it. More Creed = better show.

I am on the episode of season 7 where Dwight was the boss.... I really wish they kept it that way.

No, every episode would be too over the top in a hurry.
I don't like what they have now, but I'd hate that too.

Was I supposed to want Dwight to enter the password in or something? Because he was completely in the right, and I didn't give a rats ass about anyone else.

I'm just saying it's completely stupid that Dwight was right, yet they made it seem like he should give them a break. All he was trying to do was get them to work harder, and instead they just ****** up even more.

Favorite episode of the season.
Things I liked:
- The Cold Open — I didn't like it until Stanley burst into the room singing
- Robert's put-down of Andy about needing him to focus on preventing mistakes and not being a buffoon.
- Jim playing squash
- Oscar making a mistake
- Less Andy and more ensemble
- Lots of good one-liners
- Toby's conversation with Gabe
- Kevin's line "Come on guys, I'm right here ..."
- The recurrence of Staney's "stick it up your butt" comment. Not overly funny, but I appreciate that they've created a new running joke.
Things I didn't like:
- No lines for Creed
- Beet farm without Mose
