Jerami Grant to Syracuse. Rutgers got real close on this one but in the end it's hard to compete with the Orange.

Old news but 3 of St. John's top recruits (C Norvel Pelle, forwards Amir Garrett and JaKarr Sampson) have been ruled academically ineligible. We're pretty thin depth wise.

Is Dajuan Coleman essentially a Syracuse lock?

Pretty pumped for the aircraft carrier game Friday...
Had to look at the MSU roster because I wasn't sure who left and what not.
4 Seniors..2 or 3 actually see the floor and they always get good recruits.

That game is going to super fun to watch. It's goint to be interesting to see how they shoot with what's goint to be open endless space behind the background. It seems to me like that might be a problem early on.
I'm also pumped for Rutgers basketball this year. We're finally on the rise there to Mike Rice. Should be a fun year watching the 7 Fr develop and then adding Wally Judge to that core in 2012/2013.

Geno Thorpe to PSU. I think Chambers is going to bring in some nice players in his time here. Thorpe had offers from Rutgers, Wisky, and Pitt. That's good enough for me.

Yeah I hope it isn't too close haha but you are right. It will be a little weird for them but from what I know they get a 45 minute practice and an hour shootaround, thing is when the game starts, chances are the conditions change. If we are smart we will just take it down in the paint for easy buckets and get out in transition.
As far as Rutgers, I love the Wally Judge transfer and it sucks he won't be with you guys this year but he is a player who can average close to a double double with a block or 2 a game. Rutgers has always been a good location for basketball and I think is slightly on the rise.

Mississippi State lost to Akron last night...
And AZ is 16 because they don't know who else is even good this year.. AZ is still living off the name.
Texas A&M looked decent last night.

Huge gets for both programs.
I'm really excited for this upcoming season for Villanova. There are a lot of pretty highly recruited players on the roster who have spent a lot of their careers playing behind guys who recently graduated. The guys on the current roster are more prototypical athletically and in terms of size and skill set than in past years. But only two players (starting center Mouphtaou Yarou and starting PG Maalik Wayns) played significant roles last year, so it will be interesting to see who steps up this year on the rest of the roster. Outside shooting is a huge question mark, but if it's better than expected this team could really surprise, as they're bigger and more athletic than they have been in previous years. It could be a really tough year also, but should be an interesting season. I love college hoops.

Is Auburn's basketball team any good? My alma mater is playing them in a few weeks and I was thinking about making the couple hour drive down there to watch it but I don't really want to if they are going to get killed.

Auburn was pathetic last year.
There's a couple good games tonight. Duke/Michigan State on right now, Michigan St should theoretically be down this year but Izzo will have them competitive as always. Also Kentucky/Kansas later, I'm really excited to see Anthony Davis and Thomas Robinson match up.
