Too many dropped passes. Julio and Roddy both dropped TDs. Ryan's INT was right off Roddy's hands. I don't know what's going on with him this season.

He missed a couple deep balls admittedly, Harry Douglas was open on one of them. Roddy had a nice outside fade thrown to him but I think he got his head around too late.

Well, he wasn't Aaron Rodgers perfect, but I don't think we can really ask more of Matt than what we got today.

Agreed, hes not gonna have 100% completions. Dropped TDs by Julio and Roddy can't happen. Letting Brees have all day to throw on every down is just stupid. Mike Smith calling the onsides and 4th down was so dumb, granted I dont trust BVG either but thats just asking to lose.

Heres what i got out of this game..
1. DcCoud is one of the worst S's in the league
2. This game jus further proves how terrible Dunta is
3. We give up on running the ball way to easily
4. Roddy seems back to his Mike Vick days :(

Roddy looks like he doesn't want to be out there. He's hurting the team more than he's helping it. He constantly kept missing his blocking assignment, and he again got a dumb 15 yard penalty. Today he couldn't even catch, and he let a ball go off his hands for an interception.

DeCoud is also terrible.

Don't get me wrong, I thought he played outstanding. Just missed on one or two deep balls. We need our receivers to step up. No way should we lose any of our next two games against the Titans and Vikings, which would make us 7-4. If we lose either of those, then I'm really worried. After that we got the Texans and at the Panthers.

Matt Ryan played alright. He got lucky a lot of times that it wasn't picked off. He could have thrown at least 5 ints.

What a poor display by Roddy White, who usually shows up for these Saints games...

And terrible coaching decisions. Stupid onside kick, dumb challenge, and ridiculous call to go for it on 4th and 1.

Not a fun game to watch.

hold on. people are crucifying Decoud for being in the right position but not being able to make the play on a perfectly thrown ball? doesn't make sense. Decoud is a good S. he's not an all pro but it's not like he's the worst S in the NFL. He's average. but he does his job of being the deep man 99% of the time very well

yet I watch every play and Decoud 90% of the time is blanketing his man. on all 5 of the passes completed against him sunday, every single play he was there in coverage. Brees gave a perfect pass on all 5 plays.

Now, you look at the last 3 games when we won and Decoud looked very good. I love how people crucify a guy and don't know what they are talking about. The person who failed in coverage was Sanders this past game. No coincidence the pass defense fell off when Moore gets hurt. Decoud is good. Sanders is bottom 3.

End PFF. Ray Edwards is a good run defender, and a below average pass rusher. That's not good play.

If Ray Edwards was an elite pass rusher, the Falcons wouldn't have got him for 5 years, $30 mill. A few more sacks would be nice, but he's never going to be John Abraham in his prime.

No one expected him to be elite, or paid him as an elite rusher. However, he's not getting paid to be a sub 5 sack guy either.
