You guys have a very narrow definition of elite. Generally, in most drafts there are 10-12 elite prospects available, not all drafts but in most.
If a player has All Pro potential, he is considered an impact prospect, you guys seem to want guaranteed HoF credentials before you give a prospect elite status but that isn't the way scouts and GM's view the term. i.e. AJ Green was considered an elite prospect by scouts and GM's even though he isn't at the talent level of a Calvin Johnson, he is going to be an All Pro many times over and that is good enough for scouts and GM's to give him that tag.
The QB's will decide how good a draft this year turns out to be. If 2 or 3 of them reach franchise status in the eyes of scouts and GM's then this draft will likely fall in the 10-12 range for elite prospects.
