Notre Dame has confirmed this officially.

Good move by Te'o. Probably a late first round pick and the third inside linebacker selected this year but should be the top prospect at his position next year.

I really feel like Te'o deserved a lot more attention around these parts and sort of flew under the radar a bit. But yeah, staying for his Senior season should help him get a bit of attention and he should enter the year as the top guy as far as linebackers go.

Also keep in mind that Te'o played through a pretty bad ankle injury for most of the season so he probably felt as though he didn't put his best foot (no pun intended) forward for scouts.

For what it's worth, I've heard Tyler Eifert is probably staying as well.
