Aaron Cook signs a Minor League deal with the Red Sox. I'm surprised the Pirates didn't sign him.

Valid point, but would you pay any amount someone falsely accusing you of any crime, let alone murder?

I'm not sure what you're asking, but if it's would I pay any amount to get off of the charges, the answer is yes.
From what I remember reading a few years ago when the Villalona stuff first came up, there were a lot of reports of how this type of thing happens a lot and it's many times purely extortion. Again, I'm not saying he is innocent, nor am I saying he's guilty, just saying that anyone claiming he got away with murder is pretty ignorant of the way things go on over there.

Yea, after I posted that I was like, "Wait, I'm talking about a country south of the US." I'd probably pay to gtfo too...

Barry Larkin to the HOF. He's the only player to make it this year.

I loved Larkin. Although, I always want to call him "Barry Lincoln" from Adam Sandler's "Sex or Weightlifting".

Baggy up to 56% is a mix of encouraging/depressing/frustrating for me.

No Bagwell, Tim Raines, Edgar, Alan Trammel, McGwire. Sigh.

McGwire only did one thing well and he had a lot of help doing it. Bonds should make it in because he was a complete baseball player unlike McGwire.

He had tremendous patience and raw power, **** the stupid steroids argument. And Bonds is the greatest player of all time, that's why he should be in.
Bonds
Clemens
Bagwell
Piazza
Biggio
Raines
Edgar
In that order, is how they should be inducted next year (since there can only be 7). The next year...
Greg Maddux
Frank Thomas
Trammel
McGwire
Glavine

If raw power is a barometer for being in the HOF Wily Mo Pena should get on the ballot

If Willy Mo Pena could get on base at a near .400 clip for his career instead of barely above .300 clip, maybe this wouldn't be an insanely stupid point.

I meant by putting the Nolan action films in the same league as the timeless classics of Batman and Robin and Batman Forever.

He's 6'10" and because of it can't consistently keep his motion or throw strikes.

Barry Larkin belongs, so maybe you should argue when guys that are nowhere close to hall worthy (Jim Rice!) get in.

Guys like Rice, Larkin Jack Morris, and Dale Murphy have no buisness in the HOF. Bert Blyleven had better consider himself damn lucky imo.
