That's seriously the best reason I've ever heard for someone getting injured.

Back to back games against the Leafs, followed by a game against a **** team that has our number, then two road games that we could be absolutely destroyed in. "Fire Ruff" mindset could be at an all-time high in the next ten days.

Pretty sure a baseball pitcher got hurt playing guitar hero once. That would probably be mine.
Also, anyone else think this pancake thing is fishy? Maybe he threw out his back doing something he wasn't supposed to do, and was just like PANCAKES when the team was like why aren't you playing.

It was Joel Zumaya in the ALCS, and it was very amusing at the time dammit.

What the **** is wrong with the Red Wings? They get obliterated every time they play the pathetic Islanders.

Definitely better than Brent Sopel getting back spasms after bending over to pick up a cracker.
Hard to say if this is better than Sami Snakebitten Salo, who actually got bitten by a poisonous snake when playing golf.

I just would've loved to see Penner try and explain that to his coach. "Hey coach, I can't play tonight. I threw my back out eating pancakes." I imagine the facial expression that followed would have been priceless.

How good are the Blues? top 5? top 10?
I love this team, can't wait till we get Andy Mcdonald and Alex Steen back from injury. I really think we're one or two defenseman away from being a big time contender. Team is just going to get better when Vladimir Tarasenko, Ian Cole and Jaden Schwartz are ready.....

Top ten. They play in the toughest division, maybe 7 teams could make an argument for being better right now. Possibly add Washington, Pittsburgh, LA, and Nashville to that number by year's end. Blues are fantastically coached, no doubt about that. Love how well Perron has played in his immediate return. I really like McDonald, too, but his health is difficult to count on. I'd like to see a little more offensive blossoming from Berglund and Stewart, and I think it is possible under Hitch, but the team is running pretty well. Pietrangelo is also too good for somebody born in the 90's.

Perron told me he wasn't even 100% yet (shape-wise, not injury-wise). Coming back after a year without practice made it that he's not in as good a shape as he'd like, and doesn't have as much control and accuracy on his shot. The guy's a very hard worker, I can't wait to see what he'll do when he gets it all back. Should be a PPG player, at least, in the very near future.

Cammalleri has been traded. No one knows where yet, but he's been informed.
Edit: He's been traded to Calgary.

Well the Flames are only interested in retreads, so their options were limited.
I guess the Habs don't really have a need for someone to score in the playoffs, anyway. Don't see too big of a deal, either way. Calgary aims to get destroyed in round 1 by Vancouver and continue to have no future. I like how they gave up a 2nd-round pick to get rid of Regehr's salary, but then gave up another 2nd to take on Cammalleri's.
