Alex, you can forget about that long term deal now. Last week was a ******* hoax. You suck dick. And I don't want to hear "It was his receivers, his line, duuuuuurrrrrr".
Dude couldn't hit the water if he fell off the boat. Time to go to Kaepernick.

What a tough way to end. Regardless, i would never have imagined the niners would have gotten this far last summer.

And look who's true colors show up. Giants punted on 9 of their last 10 possessions BTW.

LOL I'm just kidding. But really, we need to sign some receivers.
Man what a letdown.

We got SCREWED. It should have never gone to OT. Bradshaw's fumble would have given the Niners the ball under 2:00 in FG range with the ability to kill NY's remaining two timeouts, giving them the ball back down at least 3 with not much time remaining with our D being able to lock up the win. The line judge absolutely screwed us with the LATE whistle that conveniently is one of the only plays that is a JUDGEMENT call that CAN'T be reviewed or challenged. This needs to be addressed by the competition committee ASAP as it changed the whole direction (and likely outcome) of the game.
The Niners did make their mistakes (Kyle Williams <cough>) but they showed they had more HEART, they played BETTER as a TEAM and wanted it MORE than the Giants. We would have given the Pats a much better game but the biased ****ing media can suck both these teams off for the next couple weeks like they wanted to. PATHETIC! The conspiracy theorist in me is going apeshit right now.
It sucks to have your team play better then the other team and not move on. Heart-breaking. Who knows what would have happened vs the Pats in the Super Bowl but this team was special and I fell earned their right to find out. They got robbed.

Hey guys what a great ******* game. Honetly I can't explain how great you guys were. I'm looking forward to his new rivalry like the late 80's/early 90's rivalry. I love the way you guys play and Harbaugh is the ******* man. We'll see you again next year in this game. Brent and Borat you know you guys are my boys on this site.

How about a BIG WR like I've been saying for months?!?! You all think Crabtree is getting the job done?! No catches today?! A lot of people will say Alex wasn't accurate and blah blah blah but VD was the only one that really got any kind of separation and he made it count when Alex found him. The rest of the WRs, especially Crabs were bottled up all game long and Alex intentionally under-threw the ball in his direction as the throws were too risky because of the lack of separation. We need someone who can separate and someone who can win a jump ball...ion 3rd down out rout or in the red zone (the two areas where Niners struggle horribly to convert).

I'd rather get a Mike Wallace-type guy in the draft.

I can't believe my facebook news feed right now. 90% of these "49er fans" are nothing but band wagoners.
This was one awesome season to watch, seeing the niners the last few seasons and then seeing them this season was nothing but spectacular.
Who didn't think the niners were going into a rebuilding season last summer?
-New staff
-Questionable draft
-Lockout
-Playbook that players had to learn on the fly
If anyone said last August that this team would end up one game away from the Super Bowl, most people would have called them a homer.
I can't wait to see how this team looks with a full offseason.

How many big wide receivers get great separation? And who did you have in mind?

Smh...you sound like a bumbling idiot, really. Typical Whiner fan reaction. If it wasn't for Alex, there would be no NFC Championship game to complain about. Nevermind that our offense isnt built to abandon the run and sit back in shotgun for 3 downs. We just dont have the firepower to pass on every down and that I will blame on Jimbaugh and Roman for those last two posessions under 5 mins went they got very predictable. Heavy sets, mutiple formations and playaction was working and they just completely went away from it when the clock got under 5 mins. Shotgun makes us easy to defend because we always max protect and we get too predictable with the route combinations. Go look at the Saints game.....same thing every third down. We go shotgun, we don't convert. WRs couldnt get off man coverage, they doubled VD, Walker looked rusty, what do you do on 3rd and 12? Alex played a good game, made throws when they were there to make, minus the one where K-10 got behind the defense. Those throws short in the flat where he threw at WRs feet I can live with. They would have been for very little gain, if any and I think that was Alex just throwing the ball away. Sorry to burst your bubble Ness but Alex will be back so either get used to the idea or go root for another team.
I'm dissapointed but far from mad. We had a great year and accomplished far more than I could have imagined. Alot ppl apparently have lost perspective on just how far we came in such a short time. We get some playmakers on the outside and shore up the interior of the O-Line and this will be a very dangerous team for years to come. Today, we lost the turnover battle and that's usually not a good omen for this team. We didn't cause a single turnover and committed two costly turnovers. That was the difference. Im proud of my team and will have high hopes for next season. Time for Baalke to work some magic....let the off-season begin.
**EDIT** And if it is true that you were joking Ness, you can ignore the first sentence, lol. But something tells me you were not...

It's possible. I think Alex deserves one more season. The schedule is going to be a lot more difficult next year. So we'll see how it goes. Regardless, the offense better be improved. Third downs especially. We need to be pushing the 40% range. Hopefully we have all of our staff intact for another run.
