Oh I don't want Gronk to be on the cover. I hate the Madden Curse. Be Coates all over again.
I just think he will be.

Yup. Fitz was saved when Troy acted like a human shield.

Would be funny to troll Madden by getting people to vote for Lechler or Janikowski(Whoever wins the preliminary round). But it would be difficult to overtake the Tebowz, he is the likely winner.

Hey don't you talk about Jesus like that. He beat the Superbowl champs in their home turf.

Yes! A punter on the cover would be amazingly hilarious.
Someone should make a 30 minute Lechler 2013 video

Whoever between Lechler and Janikowski continues on gets my vote. Lynch is a close second though.

In my eyes, its more of a challenge to the Madden Curse. How can we make a physical specimen like Gabbert look afraid in the pocket, incapable of understanding a pro offense and create the illusion of a poor supporting cast....oh wait. Seriously he would have to morph into Tebow without the ability to work hard, run the ball and lead a team.....oh wait. I would buy the pay per view of Gabbert vs Madden Curse.

Put me in the "who cares?" camp with some of the others. I used to care back in the day, but the game/brand is complete garbage.

I'm surprised EA is letting fans vote again after last year. Watch Blane Gabbert win. ha

And haha, another vote....those guys just don't learn, do they?

It's going to be Tebow with or without a vote - that'd be the only reason they'd even let us vote again, it's inevitable he would win.
Hopefully it gets sabotaged again though, a K/P or some random player like Hillis would be great. Maybe Hillis in street clothes.
Gabbert in that infamous 'ducking in the pocket under zero pressure' picture (someone please post) against the Ravens(?) would be perfect.
As far as the annual 'where did Madden go wrong' discussion, it was definitely going into next-gen. I loved the vision cone on PS2, that was a step in the right direction and would greatly improve the game as it is today. Where a QB is looking can greatly manipulate a defense and influence different things on offense, it's just realistic. They never really knew what to do with the right stick as the QB otherwise, now it's like "avoid a hit" or something else that's sparingly used, at least as far as I'm concerned.
The worst part of the game is the WR/DB interactions. It's almost as if sometimes your QB throws it where ONLY the DB can get it, instead of the other way around like it should be. You try to go up with the WR and he just does some weak alligator-arm thing without even leaving the ground, as the DB EXPLODES into the air and a magnetic force sucks the ball to his hands. Really annoying throwing one-on-one jump balls to Calvin Johnson against a 5'10 corner and having him oblivious to what's going on while the corner spins around and rockets into the air for an explosive interception, just because it's on All-Madden. Then when I'm the corner, if/when I am able to do the same over their receivers it's just never an INT.
I can go on and on about Madden, but it's really just that on All-Madden you can't play a realistic professional football game, you have to almost try and glitch the CPU in some way on every play. You can change routes and motion on offense and their defense will magically change to mirror the exact change you made, if you absolutely KNOW you'll have at least one guy open somewhere you just won't be given enough time to throw to him. It's funny how many times the pass-rush arrives at the EXACT second you can make a safe throw, whether it's 2 seconds or 5 seconds after the snap. Your blockers won't block pass-rushers when they don't want to, while your front 7 on defense gets sucked to blockers hat-to-hat without a problem on virtually any play - one of the only ways to create pressure in the game, still, is by swooping around the line with a DB with precise timing.
I can go on and on about Madden all day... And yes, I'll still buy ..... :(
EDIT: Does anyone remember maddenwishlist.com? It was around during like 04-06and got closed down eventually for reasons I'm not sure of, but I'm almost positive it was a legit website to submit suggestions. I actually suggested 'defensive hot routes' on that site, where you can change what an individual defender's assignment is on a given play, and it was in the game the next year, so that's my claim to fame when it comes to Madden

^^^^^^^^^ I hate Madden so much I just don't play an up-to-date NFL game. NCAA football has far more realistic gameplay, and if I was going to play NFL football, I'd break out the original xbox and ESPN 2k5. Madden still doesn't have as good of physics or animation as that game.

It'd be so funny if Tebow got the cover and started as a backup to Peyton or someone else lol.
Ea is so stupid. The 'fan vote' is just a big practical joke on them.
