I don't understand how being bad and acquiring the best available talent (something that is quite uniform throughout professional sports) is considered a loophole, but hey, thanks for the kind words.
And Xio, minor leaguers definitely DO matter. I've got Hosmer and Lawrie as 2 prime examples of that. The initial draft is/was ridiculously important, and minor leaguers are the best way (outside of my loophole drafting of Pujols/Cano) to make up ground.
